[ Merry Christmas, everyone! I hope you're all having a lovely holiday! ]
[ I want to thank you all for another fun holiday season. But frankly, the fun feels like it just barely got started!! So, I intend on writing the Santas longer than usual this year! A LOT longer. So many of you have been very patient with me & we have some fun threads going, so why stop now? :) ]
[ For now, I'm going to REST!! My niece got my family up at seven in the morning! 😅 Have a great day, everyone! ]

"Hey so, your coal?? I eated it ALL."
" Y-You DID?? You know the coal isn't for eating, right?! That's... That's very not good! "
" HAH! Good job, kid! Now he's GOTTA switch up what he gives the Naughty Listers this year!! " Rudo Claus leans in close and whispers. " Between you 'n me, how'd it taste? Y'know. For science. "
" Seriously, you may need to see a doctor!! How are you NOT worried here?! " This may have broken Santo Claus. Just a bit.
Fortunately, when the Santas of the Santaverse touched the mobile hologram shields, they were recognized as the true owners of the sleighs, allowing them to board and spread Christmas cheer.
Not too long after North placed a hand on the hologram shield surrounding his sleigh, he watched in awe as he was granted access to his own shield. The guardian's brows raised. " ...Very strange. "
The yetis (and elves who stowed away in the sleigh) fell over as the hologram disappeared. North stroked his beard in thought. This was clearly the work of another person. Despite this revelation, the Guardian of Wonder was just glad things were back to normal.
" HAHA!! CHRISTMAS IS BACK ON!! "
Back with the other Santas, they were each realizing what happened when they touched the holograms also.
Since he was banging on the shield before, Sumo Santa was accepted quite quickly.
" Oh..!! Okay then! That's... odd! " Sumo Santa scratched his head as the shield disappeared. " At least there's still plenty of time to head out! On Donner! On Cupid! On.. well, the rest of you!! "
" That's the LAST time I let the elves put some new-age GIZMOS in my sleigh!! " Boomer Santa grumbled. " What was wrong with the way we used to do things, huh? Hopefully it's not too late to get going. "
After that odd disruption, it appears that the Santas of the Santaverse are finally ready for takeoff!
Teddy meanwhile, munched on a cookie and reclined in his seat. His sleigh still had the holographic shield on it. He glanced at the festive clock above his fireplace mantle.
" I've gotta good 30 minutes. Noooo rush, baby. "
Special Delivery
‘Twas the night before Christmas - not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse…except not really, because it was well after midnight and most of the Dream Weavers were on the clock and therefore out of the house.
Many areas throughout the Dragon Realms lay still, their five factions having gathered in each of their capitals to celebrate as families.
In spite of how quickly he’d be able to make deliveries since he’d only need to stop as many times as he had fingers on one hand, this was one part of the world that Santa Claus would probably leave until last - and not without reason.
The dragons had seen a massive jump in population earlier this year as is tradition, but with the unusually few eggs delivered during the previous Year of the Dragon - as Spyro could attest to - it’d been decades since they last had so many young children around.
In each of the five worlds, the story was the same - most of the hatchlings would be fast asleep all in one room.
Of course, there were exceptions; Andy tucked underneath Trondo’s wing wherever they’d hidden themselves away like the renegades they were, or Henry in a crib not far from where Cosmos was sleeping, to name a few. Such was the bond forged between those who were parent and child in all but blood.
The trees would still be surrounded by countless wrapped gifts from the little ones’ caretakers come morning, but the star of the show apparently intended to make his grand arrival after the sun rose.

The Dragon Realms were an area practically overlooked by Santa Claus - Not because there weren't any dragons on the Nice List, but, there weren't nearly as many hatchlings as there were now! This year was a special occasion!
This was an impromptu trip, but one that was needed for sure!
After a long night of delivering presents, Silly Santa flew his sleigh though the dawn filled skies of the Dragon Realms. A faint chiming of bells jingling could be heard as the bearded man soared. It wasn't long before he landed within the Artisans world.
Thus begun the usual routine! Silly Santa made his way to the trees and began placing more presents alongside the others. He hummed a section of Jingle Bells as he worked. Business as usual!
" Hm-Hm-Hmm! Hmm, Hmm, Hmm!~ "
ANTI-CHRISTMAS WREAKER PROTOCOLS HAVE BEEN ACTIVATED ACROSS THE SANTAVERSE.
*cue a bunch of mobile hologram shields have started to materialize around the sleighs of the Santaverse*
Finally, tonight was the big night! Christmas Eve! North rubbed his hands with excitement as he saw how smoothly everything the workshop was going. His sleigh was systematically being filled with toys and presents galore! That is... until now.
" Mussorgsky!! " North yelped at the sight of the shields surrounding his sleigh. The Yetis were utterly confused. They began panicking, with some running around, and others going to the shield and banging on it.
North's brows furrowed. He ran up to the hologram shield and placed a hand on it. Despite the light-based source, these shields were durable. " What is this...? "
Elsewhere across the Santaverse, other Santas were encountering this unforeseen threat themselves.
" Can't ONE Christmas go by without being trapped by some sort of force field?? " Despite recalling a few bad memories, Sumo Santa began to bang on his shields. Brute force never hurt to try, right?
" There's nothing but clear skies this year! Does something always have to go wrong this late to Christmas?! " Skinny Santa ran his hands down his face in frustration. A few elves patted him on the back, while others scattered around.
" What in sam-hill is goin' on with my carriage?! " Reason trembled in front of his stagecoach. Being a Santa from the old frontier, this technological disturbance was unlike anything he'd ever experienced. " D-Don't worry ol' girl! We'll figure this here mess out! Somehow... "
" ... " Teddy took a sip of his cocoa and glanced at his sleigh as it got captured. " ...It'll probably figure itself out. " He shrugged.
Who was the cause behind all of the Santas' sleighs being captured?! This close to takeoff... Was Christmas about to be ruined?!

The man speaking was a jolly old fellow, plump, donned in a large red coat. The old man had absolutely no idea who he was talking to, but to him, a stranger was just a friend you hadn't met yet!
" They're friends of mine, you see! We have an important night very very soon and they've gone missing. " He clasps his mitten-covered hands together. " I'm quite worried...!! "

Santa sat behind the desk in his office and rolled his eyes as his other half droned on. " SOME of us see opportunities and jump on them! Don't blame me for being proactive with our brand! "
" We shouldn't HAVE A BRA- " Claus held himself back with an inhale. " No, no, I'm not going to do it again. "
" What's that's supposed to mean? " Santa raised a brow.
" I'm not going to let you upset my Christmas Spirit again. " Claus folded his arms. " Who are you even meeting up with, anyways? "
" Ooh a charming fellow I met with over the phone! He sounded mighty trustworthy!! Ohohoho! I'm sure we're going to go over my brand and star-quality! "
" You've never met him personally? Oh, this sounds like a travesty waiting to happen. I'm staying. " Claus scoffed, then sat down in a chair next to Santa's desk. Santa's gullibility wasn't a surprise at this point. His priorities were all over the place.
" Fine, fine. " Santa waved a hand. " But one step outta line and I'll toss you out of here, mister!! "
In response, Claus stuck out his tongue at Santa... who promptly stuck his tongue in retaliation. Yes, yes, very professional men they both were! Whoever Santa agreed to meet was about to potentially have their hands full.

This time of the year was STRESSFUL.
The final push of finishing gifts, the elves practicing their off-key singing, storm-watching, and his wife trying to get him to eat for the fiftieth time... Santa needed a break.
So, Skinny Santa donned his winter coat and headed into the woods, far away from everyone.
" Just one year, I'd like some peace and quiet while I finish up preparations for Christmas! No noise, no songs, no - " The bearded man paused his rant as soon as he spotted the limbless lad nearby. With a gasp, Santa approached the stranger.
" Oh my...!! Did we forget to put another lost toy on the sled? Are alright, son? "

Gifts sure have gotten more elaborate over the millennia. Every year, Balthazar, Melchior and Caspar (as well as the other gift-givers of the world) come together and publicly listen to the requests of many children. This year however... Balthazar, Caspar and Melchior had their work cut out for them.

So, instead of questioning the finer details of this child's request, The Three Wise Men quickly decided they should visit someone who's expertise could best assist them. Their plan had great intentions, but unfortunately for the Three Kings, they were quickly lost in the gardens of Peach Castle.
" This is absurd, " Caspar groaned. " We have no idea what we are looking for, or WHO we are looking for. "
Balthazar placed a hand on Caspar's shoulder and gave him a reassuring smile. " Patience, old friend. We just need to find the Princess! She'll know what to do with our child's request. "
" Excuse me, " Melchior unknowingly approached the Princess. " Would you happen to know where we could find Princess Peach of the Mushroom Kingdom? "

It had been quite the year for the Katphish family. So, why not go the extra mile for the band of kitty-weapons and their mother to make the family's holiday season extra-special this year?
In the thick of a cold December night, there was a sudden knock at the Katphish household's door.
Standing outside was the familiar holiday icon, who patiently waited for someone to answer the door.

In a sudden flash of light, out stepped a small, bearded old man. He came forward with a few steps, aided by his cane. The old man gave a hardened stare towards Belost. (A stern look he consistently gave to everyone).
" Yer Belost, ain't cha? " He sniffed. " Nicholas St. North sent me to ya. You know, Santa Claus with the muscles and the swords? "
He made a chopping motion with his hands. His description wasn't much, but who could forget North?
" Name's Mega Santa. YOU can call me, Mr. Mega Santa. So, you wanted a Missile-Toe this year, eh? "

Once again, The Devil found himself stuck doing Santa Claus' dirty work this year. He absolutely loathed the having to look so jolly, deliver presents, eat all those cookies, and spread... JOY. Ugh.
At least he had a few days before the big trip! Which meant, he could cause a bit of mayhem as a delectable treat! There was always a good time to collect some saps' souls! Using his trident, the bearded demon teleported his way to the nearest town he could in order to-
" ... "
The festive demon blinked. He had teleported to a place entirely unfamiliar to him! Oh this must've been stupid Christmas Magic interference or something.
" Stupid... THING...!! I! DIDN'T! SAY! HERE!!!! " Santa Devil ferociously shook his trident, until he felt the presence of being watched. He froze in place and immediately began to sweat.
" Erm... What does that blasted fool say... Ah, yes! Ho, ho... Ho? " Devil grinned and quickly hid his trident behind his back.
[ hello everyone!! i'll be back to posting very soon! i had finals alllllll last week, then I started my flight from Canada to the States yesterday... but I had so many delays that I got STRANDED IN DETROIT. Luckily, I was given a free hotel room, so after a short sleep, I'm back in the airport & on the way to my family! ]

" Of all the times... E-Excuse me, young man!! " Santa called out to the mouse. " Might I inquire you for a moment? "
“Aha! I have a suggestion. Why not Kintsugi, Santa! Even though something can be broken it can be repaired. Even with something like this there is always gold on the inside!” Louvel said smiling happily, excited that he was helping someone out for the Holiday Season.
“That can be a good idea.. unless.. glue with gold can do to help represent that feeling of kintsugi a bit better.
As soon as Louvel's suggestion was made, North's large blue eyes shimmered like an illuminated light-bulb. Kinstugi was a concept all too familiar to the tinkering Guardian.
" KINSTUGI!! That is wonderful idea, Louvel! At the Pole, many things break. So many hands in kitchen - Yetis, silly little elves, even a Guardian on occasion! But, what is broken is eventually fixed. "
Oh the stories he had of Jack and Bunny causing chaos at the Pole...
" When the globe is thrown, it shatters - never to be used again! I have never tried picking up shattered magical pieces, so why don't we try Kintsugi? Do you have glue with the gold, Louvel? "
