Ramon and Raymona had gone out to the marketplace to pick up supplies and groceries. The couple had just stepped outside of one store when Raymona's phone rang. She set her basket down and answered it. Ramon overheard her say Tily's name, and she sounded concerned. She was trying to reassure their daughter, hanging up the phone after the call then turning to Ramon.

This place was bizarre to the young demon slayer as the youth looks around, eyes darting and many sounds filling his ears.

The flora and fauna around here looked weird to him, almost like he was on an entirely new planet and not his home of Feudal Japan. He slowly got up as he dusted the dirt off his attire, hand close to his chained bone sickle in case of danger as he bravely ventures forth.

He also had to make sure if any creatures, they don’t be interested in the jewel shard he had embedded in the back of his neck as that sustains his life.

As he walks on, the more bizarre things were, he studied the foliage but he was afraid to touch anything as it might be alive and dangerous.

Best to keep walking.

" Sorry about that... " What was that? His fourth apology now? And a very sheepish one at that. " I-I don't know what got into him, really. " Yet again, what else was he supposed to do? Not every day he lost track of one of the Confecti only for it to come back to him with a literal foot in its mouth.

If there was a bright side to such a... bizarre situation, it was that the foot was already detachable. (Wish I'd known sooner.) He still had freaked out over it. A real lot.

With the... limb? Back with its rightful owner— (I reeeeeeally should be more careful.) —Pizzelle's mind was now fixated on a myriad of other issues. (I could have lost him too.) He had already tuned out from the conversation at hand, his eyes nervously scouting their surroundings. He didn't like what he was... NOT seeing.

It was all colorful woodland. The perfect place for small candy creatures to go missing.

His voice wavered as he, seemingly, interrupted. " N-nice conversation, but I... I really should get going. " That environment was like nothing he had seen in the Spire before, but he'd rather not give it much thought. Much less ask questions.

                SHE HAD BEEN WORKING ON A PAINTING. a tranquil spot, where flowers bloomed in a patch of sun, trees whispering to each other as wind laced through. piper was grateful her parents, whilst strict in some ways, didn't force her to stay home - most likely because they didn't actually care. she had been dropped off, of course ( carrying her canvas and such would have been FAR too heavy ), but now she was on her own. at least until someone - or something - quite literally dropped to the earth in front of her.

         granted, the actual fall had been missed, her painting blocking her line of sight. it was the t h u m p of something hitting the ground that had taken her attention; startling her enough that she jumped back a whole foot. heart racing, eyes widened, jittery, blue gaze soon peered around to see what had transpired.

                     the being there didn't look okay if she were honest ( or perhaps the better term was it didn't look human ), but she still squeaked out, "are you okay?"

Enter Ellie Lexi, who was walking in Central Park on her day off. Since it was such a beautiful day outside, the woman thought it would be nice to take a stroll for a while without a care in the world. Yes, that even meant taking a break from fighting crime. Although, knowing her, she may never know what she may find.

Of course, the heroine spoke too soon as she saw someone sleeping? On a tree branch? Come to think of it, just what exactly was he? The redhead never seen anyone like him before. He was...limbless...How he was able to stay together like that was a mystery. Perhaps she should wake him up?

Rayman had returned home battered and bruised from his encounter with Demona. Lumlight never said a word, just trembling in her father's hold the entire time. When told about what happened and seeing the state her daughter was in, her heart broke. The two recovered from their injuries, trying to take care of each other. Rayman could see Raymona become more distant over time, like she had so much on her mind.

One morning, Rayman would awaken to find his fiancée was gone. She was nowhere in the house. He would find a letter written in her handwriting addressed to Rayman.
