One of Liac's ears twitched under his mane. Those weren't words, but he thought he had a general idea of what Herbi wanted: basically, a little of everything. If that was right- by the stars, they were going to feast. The wandering ex-Dreamweaver's mouth twitched in a knowing smile, and he began pulling out items: the half-moon remains of a chocolate cake, some fruit yogurt cups, a bottle of grape juice, cheese sticks, hard cheese blocks, grapes, sandwich meat, condiments, jelly, bread- all in all, it looked like a smorgasbord by the time he was done.
Liac arranged everything, creating a charcuterie buffet. He got out a cup and a sippy cup, and went ahead and poured himself a glass of grapejuice. This cup was a light blue-purple, covered in shapes like glittering nebulas and planets. Out of it stuck a straw that looped around a small plastic planet like rings. He sipped through it, turning the tube dark purple. He smacked and then cut a piece of the cake, placed it onto a small plate, and then used a small plastic fork to cut it into smaller, bite-sized cubes. He pushed this towards Herbi, then gestured to what he had laid out.
"Take your pick- I mean, have whatever you want, little dude. I could also make you a sandwich if you want. Also if you're thirsty, we have grape juice, apple juice, cranberry juice, orange juice, wumpa fruit juice, and mango juice. We also have water and milk, too, if you don't want juice."
Liac popped open the lid of the sippy cup in preparation, then stood behind the counter and began polishing it. Leaning on the counter with the bottles spread in front of him, he looked like a bartender. He seemed to realize it, because he chuckled. He then took his braid, pursing his upper lip so it held the tuft at the end in imitation of a mustache.
"What can I d'ya for?" He said in a gruff voice meant to mimic Gavin's.
Herbi trotted back and forth across the counter, moving around to make space for Liac while he essentially emptied the fridge and played Tetris with the contents. For the longest time, it felt like it would never end - more and more and more food and drink were laid out for him.
When it finally did - miraculously, there was still ample room for him to wander about, even with the unconventional shape - Herbi stretched his head out, fangs barely poking past his lips as he reviewed the menu.
Breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert - they had it all! Variety was great, but...perhaps there were too many options ripe for the picking. He wasn’t like Craig, he wouldn’t just chomp into whatever food - or ambiguously-consumable substance - was closest to him.
Rather, he instinctively gravitated towards the cake; when in doubt, nothing beat good ol’ chocolate.
Just as Herbi was about to go to town, Liac found himself doing some impromptu roleplay. His impression of Gavin (and the faux moustache) made the tot pause and stare at him blankly, mouth frozen mid-bite. What was he doing? What was he saying?
