Well-- this is the most awkward turn on I've ever discovered about myself. He thought internally. Stan is both admiring them and amused that they were so similar in nature. Family was everything-- and he had just been thinking about a similar threat!

His heart was hammering a bit harder in his chest-- as he cleared his throat. Probably the damn heartburn meds that his brother insisted he take. Definitely not a reaction to the short stack complimenting then threatening him.

I don't think y'all understand how wild Earth 3123 is in the Marvel Timeline. All of this is canon by the way.

On this Earth, May Parker [Aunt May] is bitten by a radioactive spider while taking lunch to her dear nephew Peter. Feeling a bit unwell, she returns home to take a nap only to nearly be hit by a car-- which she avoids by LEAPING onto a wall.

Realizing she had developed superpowers, May began to make a costume so she could make money doing stunts. However, upon learning of a supervillain attacking the city, she chose to become a superhero instead.

She did contemplate telling her beloved husband Benjamin-- but opted to keep her hero life secret for now, as she's sharp enough to know anyone who knows her secret could potentially be put in danger.

So she fights crime using a weapon she [accidentally] made herself-- super sticky bread dough. Leap Frog is the first true enemy she takes on-- though her nemesis won't appear until much later.

We don't hear from this Earth for a while-- not til the Spider-Totem saga. Karn shows up to claim the totem of her reality-- and May surrenders willingly, provided no harm come to her husband or nephew. This was when she finally revealed herself to Ben and Peter.

Thankfully, her demise is prevented by the Spider Army, whom she briefly joins to help defend the multiverse. She even helps SHIELD from another reality fight a multi-dimensional Sinister Six.

"If I wanted to kill you, which I don't-- then wouldn't death by a heart attack from annoyance be easier to achieve? You know I can hear your heartbeat racing. Do you ever relax?" He knew who he was asking, and quite frankly could learn to benefit from his own advice-- but one of the perks of Fatherhood was pulling out the 'Do as I say not as I do' card now and again.
