jack davey and katherine are so funny to put together because separately they are each very intelligent but not very efficient at getting things done because they're very specialized in what they're good at. then you get them together working on a problem and you've got jack, a people person with emotional intelligence and people skills of the charts, Katherine, an analytical planner who is thinking nine steps ahead of most other people, and davey, who has a broad enough spectrum of knowledge and ten times more common sense than the other two combined to turn katherine's plan and jack's "trust me on this" energy into the most believable scheme of all time. they'd kill it in the con artist game.
