Okay, so far I only have the characters and I think it’s the musical but here ya go

And the mathletes are like Joan, Talyn, uh Valerie and other people.

That’s it so far.

Logan is a scientist who collects tiny things in his spare time.

And the three tiny creatures he finds on his doorstep are no exception.

Despite what many think, Logan doesn’t keep his small companies in glass jars, nor does he poke them and prod them (well, he does sometimes, but only when giving them check ups), he instead lets them roam.

Sometimes he will find Roman slipping in and out of cracks in the wall, running to keep up with his taller friend. The little borrower was the only one who could fly, making him the most likely to be carried by the others. Patton would sometimes try to carry him across to Logan, but would fall short and require the help of their little nymph, Virgil.

And it was not uncommon to see Patton darting about, flying quickly as to not get caught, an impossib feat once one saw the glitter that fell out of his wings. And despite not really needing to, sometimes Patton would nestle himself in Logan’s hair, where he could look at the world from above. Sometimes he would cover Logan, Roman, and Virgil I’m so much fine glitter, they ended up finding to weeks later. (He stopped doing that to Logan however, once some got in his nose and he started sneezing like crazy)

It was also not uncomment to not find Virgil at all! Well, not unless you looked in the flowers near by, as the nymph would hide in the petals, finding comfort in the silence. This proved to be a slight problem when he was spooked by Roman, who had been looking for him and had decided to jump one a few flowers to see how bouncy there where, which ended in Virgil flying out so quickly he knocked Roman off. Luckily, Patton and Logan were nearby, and Logan caught Roman before he hit the ground.

But yessssssssssssss

Okay, so, when Logan first found them, he found them in the order of their height. He found Patton first when the fairy had gotten stuck in a small cobweb. The fairy was quick to stick around, which was only slightly annoyed because of the glitter.

Virgil was found next, when Patton had grabbed Logan because of a “very suspicious looking violet” the smaller had found. Turns out it was a small nymph who clung to the taller fairy with such speed. It took a week for Virgil to trust the human, who in turn helped the purple clad nymph with his slight fear of humans.

Roman was found last by Logan, who had noted that his sudden loss in biscuits (I’m not British but I still call them this because reasons) , and discovered the tiny borrower right before he fell off the counter. Turns out that Roman had gotten lost and had run it of food…… and had been hiding in a small nook in the wall for two weeks.

Now, for the fun stuff: Roman built a cute little home in one of the walls with permission, but because it’s kinda small, Virgil and Patton don’t sleep there. They instead sleep in those little glass succulent containers that hand from the ceiling, which means that Roman is left quite alone. This means that Roman and Logan spend a lot of time together, because the borrower is a tab bit clingy.

Once, Roman was down in the dumps because he wanted to be able to fly with Patton and Virgil… so Logan grabbed the two and they ended up lifting Roman high into the air. It was terrifying, but also amazing.

Roman invented a lot of tiny stuff for his tiny home, sometimes with Logan’s help.

Patton is still allergic to cats somehow. (An issue since Logan’s friend owns a very cute kitten and Patton has a habit of following Logan around)

One time Virgil got stuck in a jar of jam. No one know how or why.

Patton never runs out of glitter, so the House always has some in the corners or on the rug or something.

One time Roman has fallen off the counter and not been caught, resulting in a broken leg and a lot of bruises, a very upset Patton who couldn’t stop crying, an over protective mother hen Virgil, and a very very worked Logan who refuses to let Roman sleep in his mini house and instead sleep on a small dolls bed right near him Incase anything happens.

Roman can speak to Logan very well, cause he’s loud. Virgil speaks okayish, but Patton is there to help. Despite the fact that Patton’s speech sounds like bells to any normal human, and Virgil’s like raindrops….. Logan understands them perfectly.

One time Patton fell asleep in the yard and got stuck in the rain. It cause his wings to get wet so he couldn’t fly for a bit. Doesn’t stop him from staying outside in the rain anyways.

In keeping with theme, patron wears a soft baby blue outfit made from petals. His cardigan was a piece of grey cloth he had found a while ago, and was replaced with one Logan found when digging through a small chest of dolls clothes. He wears pants made from dried grass he made himself (adding the idea he can see into this) and doesn’t wear shoes. His hair is fluffy and has a light pink shine to it, and he is covered in freckles. His eyes are a sap green color. His wings are similar to those if a dragonfly’s and move very quickly. He has a small pair of glasses made from tiny glass pieces that Roman helped make.

Virgil has an outfit made of, you guessed it, violets, but also wears a modified sweater that Patton made him as a welcome gift that is a mix of dried petals and soft black cotton with two holes for his wings. His hair is black, has a fluffiness to it that is similar to Pattons but not quite, and his skin has a faint purple to it. His eyes are a deep chocolate. His wings are clear and look like stained glass petals.

Roman has an outfit made of cloth from old dollhouse cloths and stuff he had found on his travels (the others don’t know where he got it) he has the most complex outfit, a white shirt and a brown vest with a pair of brown pants and small shoes he “found”. His hair is curly and his eyes are a dark blue. He sometimes wears a small prince costume Logan found a while back and made himself a small crown out of wires and beads.

And for the other three…

1) deceit is a little jerk and trapped them there because my snek is a scientist, so one day Roman gets fed up with stuff and decided to jump out of the cage (because they can fit through the bars and also Roman has zero self control)

2) they were trapped by some jerk and Logan found them hung up alone and he was like “ah hell no” and stuff happened

Basically, in my version of the story, Deceit traps them in a cage, and leaves them on Logan’s doorstep so that they will, to quote a meme, perish.

Patton is very flighty (you BET that pun was intended), and he’s very indecisive. He both does and does NOT trust Logan. I mean, after Logan helped heal his wing back up, he does mostly.

Hey @altruistic-skittles , heard you were in a creative slump. I decided to finish this for you. Maybe brighten your day a little :D

Grocery Store/Supermarket AU! The most basic AU you will ever see (besides the beloved coffee shop au’s). I was at work thinking of all these scenarios because I don’t really talk to anyone so my mind just wanders and we end up with things like this. Prepare for a not-so wild ride my dudes.

Logan:

He’s 21 with no sense of adventure.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 18.

He started in the pharmacy section because he’s a smart cookie.

Sadly, he’s not smart enough to understand “The customer is always right”.

He doesn’t play games. When you’re wrong, you’re wrong.

It got to a point where he had at least 10 customer complaints a week and management was very close to kicking him to the curb. 

They made a compromise for him to move to a department with literally z e r o customer interaction.

The accounting office. He loves it. He’s now a smart cookie in charge of money.

But, if cashiers could sort their freaking coupons, that would be great.

Oh! He’s also Emile’s brother!

Patton:

He’s about 19/20 (I’m leaning towards 20) and a sunshine bean.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 16.

He’s a cashier who everyone l o v e s.

He’s so friendly?? All the time?? 

Management used him as an example for Logan all the time.

He sorts his coupons. Just for Logan.

Patton loves children and he loves the fact that he can offer them stickers.

Once, a child denied his sticker. He was a little upset. 

He’s not allowed to do re-shops anymore because one time he ended up re-arranging the entire cereal aisle by color.

His one task, which was to put the cornflakes back on the shelf, was never completed.

A local dad friend to every minor working in the store.

He also knows ASL just in case someone’s deaf because oh boy he isn’t missing a chance on any customer interaction. 

Also, he’s Virgil’s brother!

Roman:

He’s 18. Look at him thrive into adultery adulthood.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 16. 

Forgot a thing: every minor starts as a cashier. 15? They have to stay there until they’re 16. 16/17? Great! As long as you’ve been a cashier for 6 months, you can move departments! Only to certain ones though, lets not get crazy.

Roman stayed a cashier until he was 18. People are cool, he doesn’t mind interaction.

He got bored and decided he wanted to move to the bakery so he can decorate cakes in excessive amounts of edible glitter. 

He lets his creativity f l y.

When someone has an ordered cake, you better know he’s making that cake so that it exceeds expectations.

Sometimes frosting mysteriously “goes missing”.

He eats it in the cooler. He hasn’t been caught yet.

Makes the best frosting flowers. They look almost like real flowers, it confuses everyone.

However, he can’t write words on a cake to save his life.

Virgil:

He’s 17. He’s small and needs to be protected.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 15.

He’s selectively mute because of social anxiety so clearly putting this child on a cash register is a g e n i u s idea. However, it’s the law, he has no choice.

He’s also half of the reason Patton knows sign language because he loves his brother damnit! If Virgil is anxious in a public space and he doesn’t want to use his actual voice that’s a-okay!

The front end cashier managers will also accommodate so if Virgil needs to chill and do some back work (like re-shops or cleaning the registers that aren’t in use.) then that’s fine. There is one manager that can choke though, but we’ll talk about him later.

When Virgil turned 16 and was officially 6 months on register he freaking b o o k e d i t to management to see if he could move to accounting. (In the back where it’s quiet and the only person he’ll have to speak to is Logan? Sounds amazing.)

Sadly, the lad has to be at least 18 to be back there. 

Virgil settled for grocery. Still has customer interaction? Yes, but a lot less of it.

He still rarely talks and when people ask him where something is he generally gestures for them to follow him as he leads them to the item.

Belial (Deceit):

He’s 27 and can c h o k e.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 17.

He’s one out of the four front end managers.

Every single employee hates him with the passion of 1,000 burning suns.

How did he get a manager position? No one knows.

Has made cashiers cry (mainly Virgil minors, and one super buff guy with a goatee).

Everyone thinks it brings him joy. Hint: It kind of does.

It tends to be his way of doing things, or the high way. 

All in all? A despised human with a snake tongue.

Emile:

He’s 27 and a legend who we will love and appreciate forever.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 16.

He’s the Human Resource REP. and loves his job. Sometimes he wants to put his head through a wall, but he loves his job.

He wants the best for every single employee, except one.

Makes puns and pop culture references way too often.

Most people don’t understand what the hell is going on when he starts. 

When a pun is made you can hear Logan groan from the accounting office.

Remy:

He’s 26 and sassy as h e l l.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 19.

He works in asset protection (aka: security)

He has all the receipts and tea sweetie, he knows you were trying to steal that lipstick.

He doesn’t play games. (Okay, well, he knows Roman eats some of the frosting. But he lets it slide. He would do the same thing.)

He lives off of coffee. His coffee cups seem to be everywhere.

“Alright Felicia, here’s the deal,” “My name is Carol.” “Honey, sure it is.” -every conversation with someone trying to break the laws of the land.

Thomas:

He’s 29 and somehow not losing his damn mind.

He started working at this random store with no name when he was 15.

He’s the store manager, look at him t h r i v e.

He wants the best for every employee, even the one with a snake tongue.

Why he doesn’t fire Belial has been a mystery for years. 

Treats everyone in the store like they’re part of his family bloodline.

Everyone would 100% cry if he ever transferred to a different store.

ok, kiddos, i’ve been thinking about this for weeks, here we go

TW: deceit being deceptive and slightly manipulative; he hits patton once and locks him up, but that’s about it 

thomas is the eldest of the kingdom’s three princes, incredibly charismatic and beloved by the people, and the one who’s next in line for the throne 

logan is the middle child, and he spends his entire life studying everything he possibly can about the kingdom so that he will be able to help thomas run it efficiently 

roman is the youngest prince, the captain of the royal knights, and a renowned adventurer across all the neighboring kingdoms

dorian (aka deceit) is the older stepchild and the technical lord of the sanders manor, and an asshole to virgil and patton

virgil is the younger stepchild, who starts out as kind of an asshole but gradually becomes more likeable (earning dorian’s disgust, but he doesn’t care anymore) and who has not-so-secret magical abilities

patton is the biological child of the (deceased) lord of the sanders manor, and the ever-cheerful servant of dorian

they’re all in the same grade

roman is the student who becomes popular within his first week, mostly because of his parents

both of them are famous superheroes who are seen as american icons

feels like he has a huge weight on his shoulders because everyone expects him to live up to their legacy

he tries to distance himself from that by taking up theater, painting, singing, fencing, poetry, horseback riding, joining the spanish club, and any other extracurricular he can to prove that he’s not just a name– he’s his own person

despite all of this, roman still never feels like he’s enough

often overworks himself, but you’d never know unless you have an eye for looking past brash, flamboyant personalities and layers of stage makeup

has the power to “charm”– he can put others in a sort of trance and have them bend to his will (think the imperius curse from harry potter, or “charmspeak” from percy jackson)

can do this at his discretion through speaking or singing

logan is the only one who matches roman for amount of clubs he’s a part of

at first glance, he seems like the quiet, studious, and respectful student who minds his own business, which is half-true

he’s not afraid to throw hands give his own opinion, and stuns most people with the amount of knowledge he has stored up to use against others in a debate

he and roman instantly dislike each other, due to their differing creative ideas

they secretly respect each other, being able to keep each other on their toes, and see the other as a strong-willed individual

only one of his parents has powers; they were a sidekick before settling down, and while logan loves both of his parents very much, he is afraid of becoming nothing more than a sidekick, as well, and works hard to prove himself

logan has the powers of both telekinesis and elemental transmutation– meaning that he can rearrange the atomic structures of objects, changing chemical composition to turn one substance into another

like king midas, but on purpose, and with a full understanding of chemistry

he’s not very good at telekinesis yet, which he keeps a closely guarded secret, terrified of being seen as a failure

the one thing he can do is make jars of jam move from the kitchen up to his room for him to snack on

in heightened emotional states, he’ll cause objects to move without meaning to

one time patton snuck up on him and tickled him from behind, and they had to change all of the lightbulbs in the school

virgil is the only one logan feels like he can have a calm conversation with, despite virgil’s often cryptic responses

virgil is the school outcast, though he’s found very loyal friends in logan, roman, and patton

never speaks in class, or to anyone, because he’s too worried about saying the wrong thing, so he finds it simply best to never speak at all

when they first had class together, patton tried to befriend him, but virgil never said anything in return

patton stopped speaking to him for a few weeks, and virgil only felt worse because he though that he had ruined his chance of having even one friend

it turned out to be that patton assumed that virgil was deaf, so he spent all of his free time learning sign language

virgil was blown away that patton would put in so much effort to do that just for him, and had to confess that he didn’t know any sign language

they’ve been inseparable ever since

he’s pretty bitter towards roman at first, seeing him only as a show-offy jerk

they become friends once virgil realizes that a lot of roman’s confidence is a front

they bond a lot over disney

roman never uses his powers on his friends except for once, when he charmed virgil out of a nasty panic attack

virgil’s power is darkness/shadow manipulation; he can shroud things or people in darkness, or create shade wherever he likes

he often just seems to pop up out of nowhere

he likes to do this to logan a lot because he and roman are curious as to what he’ll move/break with his telekinesis each time

he’s surprisingly adept with his powers, more so than any of the others

he mostly uses it to sneak coffee into class

roman and logan are secretly jealous when virgil is praised in class, because they know that he’s barely trying

patton is the one who brought all of them together as friends

he was the first person at the school to really see roman for who he was, and not who he was trying to be

doesn’t want or need to be impressed, just genuinely cares about the others and that they’re happy, and it’s extremely grounding

is incredibly smart and quick-witted, but struggles with classes more than the others due to his adhd (he also struggles with depression, but he keeps it a secret)

when logan found out that the high school didn’t offer accommodations for students with learning disabilities while tutoring patton, he created no fewer than ten petitions, memorized several laws, and essentially taught himself to be a lawyer before rallying about 90% of the student body together to storm the school board and insist that they add in some new rules

“this school is literally hovering thousands of miles above the ground! why can’t you can’t give students extra time during tests?”

patton can fly due to being born with a pair of wings

they’re huge and honestly gorgeous, but he’s often made fun of for being clumsy because they knock into almost everything

between that and his adhd, patton often feels like he can’t do anything right in comparison to the other three, who are all so focused and improve so quickly

he’s incredibly graceful in the air, though, and will fly at any given opportunity during school hours

has a cool pair of goggles that virgil gave him as a birthday gift to wear when he flies

no of course they’re not steampunk don’t be ridiculous

roman loves when patton takes him for rides; they’ll often sing duets together in the sky

popular hits include “there are giants in the sky”; “i’m like a bird”; “fly me to the moon”; and “rockin’ robin”

gives the best group hugs with his wings

also has the power of empathy– he can not only read/sense the emotions of others, but he can manipulate them, as well

doesn’t like that he has this power, and at one point vowed never to use it to manipulate how others were feeling because he feels like it’s unfairly invalidating

roman once asked patton to make him sad enough to cry for a performance, and was subject to an entire Dad Lecture™ about how wrong that would be

is an incredible mediator because of this power, though, as he can sense when tensions are high; he knows what to say to each person to get them to calm down and compromises

so many puns

“i know how you feel.” “how could you possibly understand– oh my god…”

“they’re really cute.” “if you need me to talk to them, i’ll be your WINGman!”

dresses as an angel for halloween and says “Hey, Lo!” every single time he sees Logan before pointing at the halo on his head

virgil loves his puns and fights anyone who calls patton annoying

@koalaaquabear​ and I figured all these out together! I may have elaborated on our decisions a bit TOO much in this post, but… that’s what I do best :P ENJOY! (Descriptions for each Side are separated by a semicolon)

Royality: Papyrus - Royal Guard™, loves attention, wants recognition, kind of a big ego but veiled insecurity, tries to date everyone, has big fanciful dreams, dramatic; sweet and kindhearted, cooks food for you (albeit not always very well), loves everyone loudly and unconditionally, sometimes a bit oblivious, excitable, in love with pasta, goofball. A cool dude made for hugging. 

(Alternately, Royality is also Greater Dog. He’s literally a cute puppy who’s a knight)

Analogical: Alphys - anxious, afraid of social interaction, cares deeply about her friends but is constantly worried she’s bothering them, obsesses over past mistakes; nerdy, geek, inventor, actual genius, embodiment of the “as a gay scientist,” post. Basically the (not-so-mad) scientist who experiments in their basement, is scared of messing up, and bad at dealing with emotions.

Logicality: Toriel - teacher, loves books and learning, wants to read to you and share fun facts, has shelves FULL of books and keeps everything nice and organized, calm exterior, has already prepared you a curriculum for your education; sweetest goat mom, parental, loves puns, will bake you a pie, such a Mom/Dad™, will call you every 3 seconds to make sure you’re okay. Everything you could want in a parent/teacher combo.

Prinxiety: Undyne - fiery passion, fights in the royal guard, dynamic, LOUD, has literally 0 chill, strong personality, will lift you for fun, sassy, competitive, a hero; intensely protective of her friends (like, FIERCELY), suspicious of everyone, takes a lot for her to trust new people, defensive, always vigilant and on guard. Will fight you to protect her friends. Chaotic gay.

(Also, Prinxiety is low-key burgerpants - just an anxious dude who wanted to be an actor) 

Moxiety: Sans - absolutely loves his brother with all his heart, makes friends easily, everyone loves him, P U N S, loves food, supportive of friends, total sweetheart; deep and mysterious, keeps to himself, worried about a lot of things at once but pretends he’s chill, is afraid of a lot because he knows a lot, mushier than he lets on. 

(Moxiety is also kinda like the Nice Cream Guy - super nice fella, gets worried a lot that people won’t buy/like his ice cream, but still smiles)

Logince: Mettaton - enjoys quizzes and gameshows involving trivia and facts, helped to plan, design, and build his new body (could be attributed to both Logan and Roman tbh), likes being in charge (again, both of them), is a robot but not really, can SING, would absolutely dab unironically; theatrical, flamboyant, has a bit of an ego but in a lovable way, stylish AF, lives for the applause, drama queen. A very Extra™ pair. 

BONUS:

Remy: Annoying Dog - sleeps all the time, a total troll, Sassy McSasspants, would totally wear sunglasses, winks, leaves JUST WHEN YOU NEED HIM I STG I WANT SLEEP AND THAT ARTIFACT

Deceit: Flowey - I mean… do I need to explain, or? He tries to trick you the whole game and lies constantly… but he’s still a fun and interesting villain.

roman losing himself to fantasy and forgetting that he is a part of a person. as a result his room begins to twist and soon the kingdom is warped into a sort of alice in wonderland mimicry; the sides find out something is wrong and go to check on him, but they are quickly overwhelmed with roman’s room and so they become characters themselves.

then in comes thomas, wondering what the hell is going on with himself since he’s been acting really unusual, and- boom. 

Roman

Resting color is gold
