Ok so. About that chapter.
Ok so I wanna talk about that bingo card that I dared to do because, even if I did get SO MANY THINGS wrong, there are things I got right >:]
Ok, all the red things are the ones I got ABSOLUTELY WRONG.
The others? Some correct, some... Kinda?? Ok let's go in order!
- Susie feeling left out in weird route: I don't even want to talk about this route because oh my god was I shaking when I saw it. But alright, I think Susie was, primarily, feeling odd bc of the Noelle "date" but also bc we weren't.. feeling well (OH I WONDER WHY) but I think that she also had this deep feeling inside of being "left out". JUST A TINY BIT. LET ME HAVE THIS VICTORY.
- The 7 flowers: THANKS. TOBY. I. LOVED. THIS. PART. I. LOVED. MEETING. EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. OF. THEM. (Seriously, I almost cried when we said goodbye)
- Asriel-Ralsei confusion: Ok so, we also got this from Asgore before we closed the first fountain. Just a small dialogue, but it was there. Another win ✨
- Rudy fucking dies: I wanna consider this, but halfway. Cause the man fell down the stairs, but I'm sure he didn't die. But still, he fell. So.. 50/50??
- Flowey returns: Just a letter away. It was FLOWERY, NOT FLOWEY, BUT IT WAS SO CLOSE. Also, can we talk about how THAT'S the nickname Papyrus gave Flowey as a joke?? PLEASE??? ANY PAPYRUS ACKNOWLEDGEMENT??? (dude that still hurts me)
- More Dess lore but not sprite: I mean... We kinda did? Not super important stuff (like her disappearance) but more about her personality and what she did. Like the fact that she was in a band with Asriel, Kris and Noelle(?), or how Asriel wanted to sent her love letters, or about the photo album that we can see at the start of the chapter (we can see Dess doing some things so-). So I count it as a win ✨
- The knight does a "Tenna" to Asgore: I WAS HALFWAY RIGHT. IT WASN'T AT ASGORE. IT WAS AT FLOWERY 😭😭
-The Lake: like I said, I refuse to elaborate further.
-More insight into Kris' past: Same thing with Dess 🥀
-Asgore takes a taste of his own medicine: LET'S FUCKING GOOOOOOOOOOOO-
-Information on the divorce: The fact that Asgore got so distant from his family (and Toriel) bc of his obsession and WE SEEING HOW THE SAME OBSESSION MAKES HIM ACT?? yeah, we got ONE part of the divorce lore. We just need Toriel's 😌
- A friend inside me reference: I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS WAS RIGHT. I CAN'T. BELIEVE. THIS. WAS. RIGHT.
And yeah. This was it. I would ADORE to do more posts regarding the newest chapter and how heartbreaking it was, but that'll be for later.
This was fun, hope I get the chance to see Toby humiliating me further in this particular way again!
(jokes aside, this chapter was so pretty, I loved everything about this!)
