Tomorrow, I’m getting a perm!

I’ve long thought short curly hair looks SOOO cute, and I have the straightest, finest, limpest hair possible. Absolutely flaccid. Can’t hold a curl or body for anything, couldn’t stay in a ponytail or even a braid back when it was long. I didn’t realize people still got perms until maybe a month ago. I also didn’t realize that they don’t have to look like the 80s ringlets I associated them with. I also also didn’t realize you could perm short hair. (Look idk what I thought the deal was with old ladies. I guess I never thought about why every single one somehow had curly hair.)

So anyway!! Tomorrow, I get a perm! It’ll either look really good or really bad! And you know what? If it looks bad literally who cares. You know how many bad haircuts I’ve had? A lot. And you know what? I didn’t die. If I hate how it looks I can either wash my hair right away to lessen the curls or just find a way to style it that works for me. If it looks bad, oh well! It’s only a few months. What’s a little time for the sake of trying something brand new?

Problem being that Asteri is Asteri and so showing off your bony arms does, in fact, read as “woag,, hot” to her— she just wouldn’t have any reason to understand that he’s doing it on purpose.

All this to say, I’m considering putting Gaster in a tank top (with very very small arm holes) for the scene.
