Sharing some digital collage art for no particular reason at all.
Unhinged disability takes from me, your friendly disabled hobbit weaver.
1. Chop off your tits before your progressive disability gets worse. It's so much EASIER to be disabled without tits. I had I cups. 2. Date people with experience in martial arts, they're practiced in ducking when you get your cane from the back seat.
3. Date people with experience in old folks homes, they won't bat an eye at going slower, and they can admire a good rollator. 4. Date nerds. My rollator is being decorated as Grond the Seige weapon from Lord of the Rings for Halloween this year. 5. You think you want a medical alert calico. No you don't, especially if you get overstimulated easily. 6. There is no shame in sitting down to do a task and 90% of tasks can be done sitting down. 7. As someone reliant on others you literally cannot afford to be a bitch, knock it off. (If you bean soup this I'm not replying, look at the title of this post and use some context clues for the love of media literacy.)
Hot Pot for POTS
I maintain that part of how I've remained as functional as I am with Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome is regular dosages of hot pot.
High sodium broth, tons of veggies, omega 3s from the sushi, lots of drinks for additional hydration, a playlist straight out of my teens playing overhead, good companyโฆ
It's perfect for recovering from a market, PTSD, or weather-induced flare.
The yarn for these trivets (available for sale on my store) is hand-dyed and handspun by KittyCat Spins in Drayton Market, England. She mailed them across the pond to me and I had the most wonderful time weaving with them! Then I ran the weavings through my washing machine on high heat and high agitation, cut them into squares, sewed them to a backing of upcycled cotton muslin, and hand sewed a blanket stitch border with cotton embroidery floss! They turned out wonderfully, if I do say so myself.

Worth of secondhand yarn and fabric scraps out of the landfills and turned into beautiful and functional art.
This isn't meant to be a flex, or a "oh look how cool I am" but rather intended as a "You, as an individual, cannot save the world. But you as an individual, when working with others can make a darn big difference."
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.
I'm not the person to do this, but I want to enjoy this content. So this is a call to a stoner dropout fan to make a comprehensive list of what strains, imbibement methods, etc go best with each episode of Game Changer and/or Make Some Noise. And then info dump about it please. I know that this is content that I would enjoy, and I bet a bunch of others as well.
This bag has the funniest story. I made it for Pride Month, posted that it was going to be first available at the Great Falls Farmers Market in Turners Falls, MA, and that if it didn't sell I was going to bring it to Waterway Arts (also in Turners Falls, MA) and it was going to be sold there. This glorious, wonderful queer showed up 10 minutes before the Farmers Market opened and rabidly hunted through the bags and crowed in utter delight upon finding it. And just... I love when social media works for good rather than evil.

Hi! I realized I got my YouTube name wrong when I said hi before! I am rideordinosaur over there. What is the most unexpected thing you are obsessed with? For example, I am a ladyish person with a degree and I LOVE professional wrestling. โค๏ธ๐งก๐๐๐๐๐ค๐ค
I Really Like Fenrirmadman and Habitual Line Crosser as content creators. I loathe violence and the United States Military as an institution, but I do appreciate history memes and things that go boom!
Handwoven Rainbows are the best rainbows!
THE MOLLYMAUK TEA LEAF SCARF WENT TO A CRITTER!!! Oh I'm so happy! This scarf was handwoven from upcycled and thrifted sari silk yarn (for the weft) with free-bin red acrylic for the warp!

Experimenting with joining infinity scarves! This joining is two scraps of vintage lace made in New England (at least according to the label on them at the thrift store, but I tend to trust that thrift store) and a hand embroidered patch made by one of my favorite regular customers. I'll work on cross stitch while I'm at Markets and she'll come see my progress and hand me some of her newest work "Now don't say no, this stuff won't do me any good just laying around. Go and make something with it." (So much of my business is based on saying "Yes Ma'am" to older women!)
Yay! You're on here too!!! Your YouTube videos make me so happy! I'm turbospacedinosaur over there and my real name is Jess. The way you are so enthusiastic and open about your neurodivergence and queerness is so lovely and relatable. I aspire to be more open and authentic, but it's a process. You are important. I wish you comfort, relief and abundance. ๐
Aaaaa! *flails* I'm so glad! It is a process, but it's one that's very hampered right now by staying safe. I wish you the utmost of luck with being true to who you are and the same comfort, relief and abundance! What a lovely well wishing!
