You know whatâs really cool? That God uses everything. Especially the little things. Thereâs nothing He canât use and thereâs nothing He wonât use. For His glory. For His plan.
I really enjoy learning, but sometimes school can feel repetitive, or I want to be doing something else, or perhaps the topic can seem trivial.
Yet knowing that this is the season where God wants me and has me in now allows me to trust that Heâs going to use it. Sometimes I have to ask myself why Iâm not passionate about the mundane in my life, because God Himself is.
Psalm 116:15 says, âPrecious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints.â
This is one of my favorite verses right now. The mundane death that no one sees or hears, the one that doesnât end up in an autobiography, but is otherwise altogether forgotten. God not only cares, but it is PRECIOUS to Him. And the same is true about the small things in our lives. God not only works in the mundane. Not only is it His plan. But this is Godâs mundane, and it is precious to Him. So not only do I ask myself if I am thankful for this time, but also am I seeing it as precious?
