I have been practically studying the masterful work of John Jame Audubon - a long time influence of mine and rendered a couple of his works in magenta to create a really fun visual. A really great exercise in professional development.

Poster design for 'Circus Town' - a Bassendean community event. The local animals of Bassendean - common duck, skink and snake-necked turtle - are seen having fun enjoying the festivities of eating fairy floss, learning a trick and getting a balloon animal.

This poster concept for Melbourne hardcore band Hoarse draws inspiration from scientific illustration to depict an array of horse eye problems. The play on hoarse/horse is used throughout their identity and by depicting these irritated and sore eyes, evokes a visceral feeling to link in with the feeling of being hoarse.

For me, the loveliest part of Made on The Left is arriving home with a treasure or two in tow - bringing something home to the nest was my inspiration for the poster design. You might also notice some wonderful work in the birds’ nest from some of my favourite retailers and market buddies Enid Twiglet, Little Sketchy and Charlie and James too!

Benjamin, widely regarded as the last Tasmanian Tiger, or ‘Thylacinus Cynocephalus’ died in 1937. This artwork was commissioned as an art swap with Perth artist Flying Wolf  - it was traded for a Dodo Bird! 

I had drawn the draft of this koala to enter into an art award and thought he needed a cute hat. I gave him the Cornelio the ice cream vendor hat as a wink to my dad. 

“Why don’t we do it like, Yertle the Turtle, but with horses?” He said. Genius.

A local artist commissioned this series of illustrations of his heroes. Included are characters from the mind of each, as well as an inspirational quote.

Perth Rock'n'Roll outfit The Scotch of Saint James commissioned this T-shirt design. The concept was entirely their own and a lot of fun to work on.
