I’ve always liked Pokémon since I was a child. The only game I was ever to play was Gold version on a hot pink. Gameboy color. (that I still have, the game no longer saves so yes I died when all my work was erased) My childhood wasn’t bad, but let’s just say I had to “grow up” quicker than the rest of my peers. So, I stopped watching it, playing the games and collecting merchandize. This moment of Ash winning means so much. I am going to cry when there is no more Ash and Pikachu. A lot of what I do as an adult is go back to what I used to enjoy as a child. I feel like a kid again watching Ash or buying the next game. I could care less if others judge me for still enjoying Pokémon. I will always have. And as bonus I have a bf who loves Pokémon more than I do.
