Sailing to Neptune

Because the last time Lexa saw Clarke there was a wound right there, and here in the CoL it’s gone, and part of her must wonder how much time has passed in reality, if the healing wound is still there or if there’s scar now. If there’s as permanent a mark on Clarke’s body now, as indelible as the mark Lexa has left on Clarke’s soul.

What is real in the City of Light, what Clarke carries into it (her father’s watch, the clothes she envisions herself wear - not unlike the first outfit Clarke was wearing when Lexa first met her, her hair styled in exactly the same way.) 

That is all telling of what is important to us and how we define ourselves in our heads. 

And Lexa can’t help but wonder at the way Clarke has brought her love for Lexa into that place and what she will carry out when it’s gone.
