Whenever someone says that landlords shouldn't be allowed to raise rent if no improvements were made, there are always bootlickers who say that landlords have to raise rent because of property taxes, insurance, or utilities being raised.

But those shouldn't be allowed to be raised either. If a landlord is really going to play the "I'm so poor and oppressed because I have bills that I struggle to pay" card, why don't they ever show some fucking solidarity with others who are struggling to pay their bills and fight back against the capitalist assholes who make everything more expensive so they can profit? The only reason I can think of is because they're one of those capitalist assholes.

Ykw now that i think about it, i'm rooting for a frank langdon panic attack/breakdown in season 2, and it's not mel who finds him but trinity. And trinity is like "oh geez I'm not equipped for this" but she still tries to help frank breathe properly bc he looks so fucking terrified and sad, and that's when frank goes

"Thank you. I'm sorry."

And at first, trinity thinks he's saying thank you for the help in that moment and apologizing for losing it in that moment so she's like "nbd don't ever mention it again"

But frank shakes his head. "Thank you for saving my life. And i'm sorry for how i treated you."

And that's how they come to a truce, bc an apology isnt enough, but it's the first step.

And when someone doubts langdon's diagnosis or treatment plan later, trinity is the one batting for him. "Hey he's a senior resident, so shut the fuck up before i shut it for you."

They're not friends, but they come to an understanding.
