Alhamdulillah

And like the moon, we must go through phases of emptiness to feel full again.

Time is tricky. You have whole months, even years, when nothing changes a speck, when you don’t go anywhere or do anything or think one new thought. And then you can get hit with a day, or an hour, or a half a second when so much happens it’s almost like you got born all over again into some brand-new person you for damn sure never expected to meet.

when trying to live a religious life leaves you in a constant state of humiliation and guilt over your sins being too great and your good deeds not being good enough and causes you to hate yourself which leads you into self harm and a suicidal mental state

“When you go through a hard period, When everything seems to oppose you, When you feel you cannot even bear one more minute, NEVER GIVE UP! Because it is the time and place that the course will divert!”

“We live in a world where we want things immediately. But, all around us, Allah teaches us a profound lesson, again and again: everything is a process and takes time. Allah could have made a baby in a moment, but He designed it to take 9 months. A seed could have become a massive Oak in a day, but He designed it to take hundreds of years. The Prophet’s mission could have been completed in a year or two. But, God designed it to take twenty three. You will not always see the fruits of your labor right away. Maybe not even in your lifetime. Don’t get discouraged. All things take time. And to all things is a process you cannot speed up. Therefore, success is dependent upon patience (see 3:200).”

“Do good to those who are worthy and to those who are not, so that God gives to you when you are worthy and when you are not.”

One of the reasons that the Prophet lost his father, mother, grandfather, uncles, aunties, sons and daughters in his blessed life was to teach mankind that Allah tests the believers with hardship but that should not prevent them from emulating the Beloved who went through this pain, yet spent his entire life soothing the hearts of others with his beautiful smile. صلى الله عليه وسلم

“Never forget that Allah is The Turner of hearts. He can heal your life in a moment. Never forget that Allah is The Replier to all those who call. He can forgive you in an instant. Never forget that Allah is The Close. He can end the distance in a second.”
