I graduated high school in June 2023, and I’ll be attending college in the fall
I hold hopes to publish my books traditionally, and be able to hold a copy of my own writing
My interests outside of writing fall in marine biology and cetology especially. Music and the composition of it. Finally, I am very interested in painting and drawing.
My WIP:
I hold a pretty strong "one project at a time" and so although i have plans for other writing projects after this one, I won't work much on it until I reach a finishing point with the current one. With that being said, I introduce to you my one current project!

Genre: ya fantasy
Plot Summary: When Cetus' mentor moves to kill their greatest rival he's forced to turn against the only man whos cared for him. After being kicked out of his old life, his safety is on the line as he's hunted by old friend and foe alike. A race against time is established as he rushes to regain his place by his mentors side, but there are more threats around him than he originally thought.

a b o u t : an isolated town is haunted by otherworldly canines incapable of dying. when connor hidalgo mejía comes back to life after being sacrificed by her old classmates, the town finds a temporary solution to their problem that will keep more people from dying: they offer connor and only connor to the animals. with her boyfriend's mother at the head, connor becomes the reluctant but not entirely unwilling idol of worship of a cult that begins to form around her. the people of her town really believe she can somehow free them of this haunting. but aurora vidal isn't the only one pulling the strings for power. everyone wants a piece of connor's divinity, a god is easy to manipulate when she's actually just a nineteen-year-old girl who up until last month only had two concerns: make it to tomorrow and get to know her estranged brother. the temporary solution starts to feel like a permanent one with connor soon not being to find peace in life or in death.
another story about a girl in a white dress getting sacrificed... except she's wearing cool alternative clothes on top of that white dress. also the dark academia "person we all hate died under mysterious circumstances" except this time the person keeps coming back to life, worse each time.

Benjy was in the living room. He still occupied space like he was a guest instead of a resident, you looked at him and tried to find yourself on his face, on his shoulders, his hair, his hands. But other than the brown of your skin and his skin, you couldn’t, the only thing you shared that your mum had too were the freckles, but what did that prove? If that was proof of kin then Ángel would be your brother, Acacia your sister, Dafne a quarter of something with the smattered speckles on the bridge of her nose.
“Where the fuck are you going?”
He was your brother enough to talk like he’d known all nineteen years of your life.
You stopped in front of the television, a horror movie screaming behind you, blood and guts and bad sound effects of tearing skin, someone’s burbly wail from a cut throat.
“Vidal party.”
“What’s a Vidal? Am I supposed to know what that is?”
“They own like half the town, huge house, can’t miss it.”

I started thinking about that one post about how from dogs POV humans are beings that live like 500+ years (because I was petting my dog and I was looking at her like “thirty thousand years of cooperation have led to this. our species have spent 30k years building up to the point where you, child of wolf, descendant of noble hunters and wild things, would come all the way out of the office and come sit with me in the hopes of letting a souped up monkey rub its paws on you”)
and then I thought about what it must have been like for the first humans to let a fucking wolf, maybe only a few generations from the wild, behold their infant child. Like man can u believe that? Maybe this alliance is only a few years old and sure you’ve seen the wolf’s kids but now you’ve got one of your own. And even though you’ve seen this wolf tear out the throats of creatures that could kill you, this wolf is your family. This wolf is your friend, you love them and they love you and you gotta show ‘em the new kid, look, friend, I had a child. I know you are wild and dangerous, but look at this, my most precious thing, sniff him, give him a lil lick, his children and your children will be bound together for thirty thousand fucking years because I love you
There’s a set of preserved footprints from 30k years ago that is a young child and a wolf standing side by side can you fucking imagine? Maybe the kid’s mom was like “hey go get some water from the stream, but take the wolf with you. I trust him, he will protect you.”

If you want to create a WIP page, character page, page for all your interests (e.g., reading or gaming catalogue, etc.) or whatever.
I tried to keep this as simple as possible; hope it's helpful!
Note: You can only do this on desktop. And this tutorial was made using the new tumblr layout.
1. Go to Settings.
2. on the right side, under Blogs, click on the blog you want to add a page to.
3. In the middle you will see the basics of your blog that you can edit, such as appearance, enabling asks, choosing whether to show your likes/followers.
Where it says Custom Theme, click the slider to Enable custom theme.
4. Click on the Edit theme button that appears.
Next you will see a left sidebar where you can customize your main theme (theme of your entire blog). On the right side will be a preview of your blog.
But that's a different tutorial. For now we want to create a page.
5. Scroll down and look for Add a page in the left sidebar.
Once you add a page, you can give it the Standard Layout or a Custom Layout or Link.
You can choose which one in the top left corner of the box that appears.
Standard Layout: The page will use your blog's main theme. If you just started out on tumblr you most likely have some default theme. You can type normally in this box, like you would when making a text post.
Link: The "page" can go to an external link.
Custom Layout: The page will have whatever theme you put here in code. Every page can have a different theme. It's great and fun.
6. Choose Custom Layout.
Paste your own code if you know how to make one. Or get one that's made already. Some places to find tumblr themes:
magnus themes
theme hunter
vault themes
shudesigns
glenthemes
You will find some instructions on how to use each theme. I do recommend knowing some basic HTML because it's useful.
7. Once you choose a theme you like, copy the theme's code. Usually the instructions will have a link to an external source like pastebin, where the code's text will be stored.
8. Paste the code in your Custom Layout box.
9. Give your page a URL.
10. If you want, you can click the slider to Show a link to this page. If you enable it, a link to the page will appear on your homepage. In this case, give it a title.
Alternatively, you might be using a custom main theme and don't want the link to show up in its default way on your homepage because you would rather play around with the custom code. Or perhaps you want the page to be "secret" (e.g., it's available, but not ready to be shown). Or you might have minor pages and it doesn't really matter to you if people can find it or not. A page could be entirely just for you. In that case, disable Show a link to this page.
You can click Update Preview to see how the page will look. This will show on the right side.
12. When you're done, click Save.
Note 1: The preview isn't always accurate due to spacing constraints so I recommend having your new page open in another tab. (You must save it initially otherwise it won't exist.) So any time you make changes, save your code and see how it looks in another tab.
Edit code > save > open new tab > type in URL of your new page. Any time you make changes, refresh if changes don't show immediately.
Update Preview is good though for minor edits like font colour.
Note 2: If you exit custom theme editing, you will lose prior progress. So remember to save! But sometimes you don't know if you want to keep the changes you made. That's another reason I recommend having your new custom page open in a separate tab. If you exit custom theme, you won't be able to restore previous saves in the event you decide you actually prefer some previous changes. If you keep editing open, you can freely undo (ctrl+z) any changes you made and save when you're happy.
Congratulations you have added a page to your blog and given it a custom theme!
If you're unable to create/save a custom theme and you get the dumb javascript message (“Looks like you’re trying to add some Javascript or invalid html to your page. You’ll need to contact Support if you’d like to use Javascript.”) go here on how to fix that.
