What will appear

I will be posting updates on my WIP that I was working on that will include: snippets, talking about where I’m at (see my #wynter rambles tag), and any tag games as I’m still open to tags for this WIP.

The posts that I will keep up from my WIP are the tags I did and my #wynter rambles posts.

In terms of writing, I will post short stories (ranging from 1-5 parts) that are going to stay here. I might consider doing a seasonal piece from time to time as that would be enjoyable and give some variety.

Tag games are always going to be welcomed! Feel free to tag me in anything and I’ll try to get to it.

What is your favorite/most precious object?

Jet: My most precious object? It's my silver bass that Evander gifted me. *Smiling so big at the thought of them* To me it's so much more than an instrument as it is a physical token of their love at this point. And don't even think of harming it or else.

Evander: I don't really have a physical object that's my favorite or most precious, but I do consider music Jet plays and creates my favorite. I don't care what anyone says about that one. *Smiling as they say this*

Gunnar: I have a fluorite crystal tree I think is beautiful and have it on my desk for decoration. What? Who said lawyers are boring people who can't like beautiful things?

Marla: I have a croton plant I have in the backyard and it's huge. Took a while to do but it's impressive and I love it.

Who are your best friends/closest allies?

Jet: My best friends in life are Averi and my partner, Evander. My other friends are Ainsley, Aria, Elliott, Felix, Samantha, and Jasper.

Evander: Jet is my best friend even though he's my partner, but I think it's wonderful to have your partner be your best friend. As for my friend group, I have my two friends from college, Samantha and Jasper, and Jet's friends, Averi, Ainsley, Aria, Elliott, and Felix. Though out of his friends, I get along best with Averi, Aria, and Ainsley.

Gunnar: Just a few work colleges that I have close relationships with outside of work and my law firm partner.

Marla: Just some friends I have online from a few years ago I made when I was younger and hung out with often. Like to keep in touch that way.

Do you have any obsessions?

Jet: I think it's music and things that go into music production, but a certain someone says it's caffeine. Don't know why, I just have four bags of coffee and a large box of energy drinks I enjoy.

Evander: Have you seen my cabinet? It's tea. I love it and I'm a self proclaimed tea addict.

Gunnar: You want to know what the best type of coffee is for your taste, I'm the one who can tell you. I've tried a lot of different coffees to know what the differences are.

Marla: Landscaping designs are my thing and why I have a half complete degree in it. It's so beautiful and interesting that you can't help but love.

What's your family like?

Jet: *silence and slowly blinking* Can we go to the next question? I hate talking about this and I don’t want to either. Don’t care for any of it at all and want to forget about it all.

Evander: My family is very warm, accepting, and supportive. We are close knit and even though my sister and I are eight years apart, we’re very close and she looks to me as a role model which I’m honored to hold that position in her eyes.

Gunnar: I work a lot and I would love to have more time away from work to be with my family and son. But from what I hear, everything is going well and is when I’m there, so I’m glad and happy with that knowledge. Plus I will be able to have more time with them one day.

Marla: It’s very quiet and easy going. Can’t say that anything is going wrong with it and things are going well. Nothing to complain about.

Do you look up to anyone in particular?

Jet: I've always liked Salem from Ravenge and her demeanor, as well as being one of my favorite bassists who influenced me. She's truly one of the best and is an advocate for so many things that she is a certified badass.

Evander: Those who use their skills and voice to do good in the world on the behalf of others. It doesn't matter what their skill is that allows them to have a big enough voice, as long as they have that, I hold those people in high standing.

Gunnar: I wouldn't say look up to as much as I admire these types of people; those who overcome their difficult circumstances and come out on top despite everything. Those people have a drive few possess and that in of itself is highly admirable. So I suppose you could say I look up to those people by my reasoning.

Marla: I don't have anyone who I look up to as I don't care for that sort of thing. It's nothing to me and I won't bother.

Evander: I'm probably gonna regret doing this with my sedan and being a teacher for you Jet, but let's try to make it out in one piece alive, okay?

Jet: You think I can dive? There's a reason I only have a permit and not a driver's license yet. Evander can tell you all about that.

Averi: So you think I'm a disaster of a driver? Hey! I got us there in one piece and only two hours late. That isn't improvement from last time? Then I call shotgun! At least I can still be in the front that way.

Serna: I'm an expert at finding where we need to go as we're out. You want to enjoy the day and do fun things, you want me riding shotgun.

Gunnar: I'm six foot two. The back seat is going to have me compressed. I'm taking the passenger seat since no one is going to be sitting behind me and I can adjust the seat.

Micha: I'm not driving on that crazy road myself so I'm leaving that to you my dear.

Jasper: Why can't I have a little royal treatment and have the passenger side for once and not drive all the time?

Amber: I won the game! Passenger side is mine!

Derryl: I get to ride shotgun home if I win this final game of bowling against you. Is that a deal unless you think you'll lose?

Liber: You? Driving? This ought to be good. Let's see if you can get us there with time to spare. I'm going to be silently judging you along the way, just so you know.

Marla: Honestly, I'd get more enjoyment out of this trip if I didn't have to drive, so I'm not going to. Not doing anything I don't need to on vacation.

Elliot: How else do you expect me to appreciate the scenery during the drive over? You've been there before and I haven't so I get to be in the passenger seat to see the beautiful scenery leading up to our location.

Ainsley: I'm not usually in the passenger side when I go out with all of you, but I actually like it more than driving despite being the best driver out of everyone here.

Samantha: You know where this place is you wanna take me out so show me sweetie. I don't know where it is and you want to treat me, so if you do this I'll pay for the dinner. Deal?

Aria: After all that I am going to sit in the passenger seat. And we're not taking the freeway next time I drive! Too stressful for my blood.

Milliey: *Running out to the car against her friends* I call shotgun! I called it!

Felix: How else would you be able to hear the new rhythm I came up with if I don't call shotgun? Exactly, you want a drummer this is the territory that comes with, now let's go pick up my new kit.

Sasha: You'll get yourself lost if I don't go with you. Remember the last time you refused to look up the address before you left? I'm directing you.

Unlocking the door, they had red sunflowers with a small pouch with it. They didn’t know what their partner was doing but could smell what he made. Setting the sunflowers down on the table next to the couch, they saw him cleaning the counter.

“You made all this?” They asked gently, looking at what he made.

"I wanted to surprise you with a lovely meal tonight." His smile was accompanied by their soft expression as he sat down. "Despite my efforts, I was unable to finish and clean up before you got back."

“Oh, Jet. This is a wonderful surprise. Thank you so much for doing all this.”

They went over and crouched next to him, placing a hand on his shoulder as they gave him a gentle kiss while he cupped the side of their face. After parting from the kiss, they took the towel from his hand and cleaned off the sauce from his cheek. He smiled and kissed them again that made both of them lose their balance, making both of them laugh together as they laid like that for a moment before he sat up off them.

“I love you, Evander.”

“Ich liebe dich auch, Jet.”

“I’m glad you like the surprise. But I’m guessing that means you love me too?”

“It does. Though you should check out the table next to the couch because I think you'll like it.”

He stood up and went over to the table to see the red sunflowers with the small pouch. He held the sunflowers and hugged them with the sunflowers around their neck. Smiling, they asked if he liked his gift.

He said red sunflowers were his favorite and why his laptop background was a field of red sunflowers. The beautiful red color was something he loved about this variety of sunflowers. Red sunflowers weren’t very common and made their beautiful color all the more special.

After he let them out of the hug, he saw the small pouch and opened it. Inside was a pick case with the logo of his favorite band on the flap. As he held it he loved how it looked as it was beautiful.

He asked them to wait where they were for a moment before quickly going to get something. They tilted their head for a moment until they saw him come back with a huge box of sweets they liked and handed it to them, knowing how big of a sweet tooth they had.

“Jet, I know I’ve got a massive sweet tooth but this is nearly half my height if I turn it on its side.” They smiled with a kind laugh lining their voice, holding the box.

“I know that box is scared of you, knowing its quick fate. Maybe five days at most?” He joked, smiling happily.

“You might be correct. But, not in five days. Perhaps eleven, maybe twelve, but definitely not five.”

“Okay, eight days.”

“Oh my god, Jet. You are so crazy!”

“I guess I am, Evander.”

“Hey, how about we have some of the delicious smelling dinner you so sweetly made tonight before it cools off?”
