read ao no exorcist to become emo again

I’ve heard they just translated this as ‘Mero Mero Mellow,’ which is unfortunate, because it’s a lot more fun in Japanese. The メロメロ/mero-mero part is easy- it’s the Japanese word for ‘madly in love,’ essentially.

As for the last word, though, the one that’s translated as ‘mellow’ in English- that’s how it’s said, technically, but not what it means. The kanji are 甘風, which mean ‘sweet manner.’ However, the actual pronunciation, メロウ/merou, is a very different word.
