im sorry its extremely funny to me that the nightheart and sunbeam are just having like petty warrior cats drama while frostpaw is experiencing horrors beyond her comprehension at any given moment

“nooo i don’t want splashtail to be evil i want him to be frostpaw’s uwu soft boyfriend” shut up man we have enough one note background toms whose only defining trait is “loyal to their clan” and it would make the implications of a traitor in riverclan way more compelling and personal to frostpaw’s trauma congo line than if it ends up being just some guy she has no connection to and endlessly more enjoyable than us ending up with yet another shallow het romance as endgame yes i know it’s probably not gonna happen because warrior cats is boring as fuck but let me dream-

this entire arc just goes to show why we need to go back to having one protagonist. like don’t get me wrong i like sunbeam and a lot of the shadowclan plot but like. it’s extremely clear that frostpaw should be the only protagonist
