STOP AND SHUT UP AND WATCH THIS. This is what I’m talking about, this is heartbreaking.

This rubs me wrong because of how watered down and belittling he is about "gender wars". To call it gender wars comes from a place of privilege and the ignorant belief men and women are equally harmful to each other. In no capacity do black women have the ability to say or act toward black men on equal footing how they do us. Not talking about abusers or parents to kids, just relations as a whole

We as a culture don't just have a male preference; it's male dominated. We know the expectations and standards set for us and how even the kindest, most inclusive, most socially aware man still doesn't have those same expectations or experiences.

We know the treatment of black women in movements despite being their backbones. How black womens value is tied to their amount of sacrifice but how at the end of the day its still not enough. And how its expected of us, not just from black men, but the whole of society.

And before y'all try to get on me by saying "it's a tiktok he couldn't deep dive like that" or that the above falls under his actual gender talking points...thats my point. He claims people are missing the big issues to argue about petty things, but he himself perpetuated those same gender skewed beliefs whether he realizes it or not. For a lil video, and with no actual experience or true insight of being a black woman, he decided that he could dictate the complaints as frivolous on both sides.

To ignore the context of complaints, to compare it to white supremacy....
