i haven’t finished s2 yet, but i’m so tired of non-monogamy being represented as people who are just afraid of commitment and play with people’s feelings.

non-monogamy can include multiple “committed” relationships. it’s not always about having multiple casual relationships, although that’s valid if everyone has INFORMED CONSENT on what kind of relationship they’re in and how involved it is. for once i wanna see a non-monogamous representation that involves someone having multiple serious relationships that involve people that fulfill different needs for someone.

also people that don’t have “primary” relationships like give me some good relationship anarchy representation please!!

Don’t excuse him picking on a girl as him having a crush. Correct the behavior and stop treating it like it’s cute and normal.

Also stop insisting little boys have crushes on significantly older women. It’s gross.

It’s always nice when another bisexual person comes out. But. Do not use this as an excuse to silence people who are extremely hurt and offended by things he has done in the past (or even things he has done more recently). Even if he has apologized for some things, people have the right to be angry and dislike him and make other people aware of the problematic videos he posted on his youtube channel. 

I’m already seeing a lot of posts saying, “Stop complaining about him being racist/sexist/transphobic/ableist, this is a completely different topic. He just came out and we need to welcome him.” Actually, we don’t. We don’t need to welcome anyone who is any of those things. He’s bisexual, okay, whatever. That doesn’t magically erase all the offense he’s caused. Because bisexual people can be jerks and can be oppressive, and they don’t get a free pass just because they’re bisexual.
