Shout out to Marvey for being a gay ship between two white people that are actually extremely easy to distinguish from each other
until newton invents a new law of motion
until it’s so wet we have to evacuate the house due to the mold
until it pulsates his name in the morse code
until my throat learns every vein
until my dentist knows his name
until my bellybutton inverts
until he can clap inside of me
until he bangs me so hard into the wall the atoms align perfectly and i go through the wall and he waits for me on the other side with a straw for me to suck all of the sweat off his chest
I am officially two episodes in to Suits and holy shit. You guys were not exaggerating with those edits at ALL
What the actual fuck is wrong with these guys??? Within the first TWO episodes Harvey has already staked his claim over Mike, called him a "good boy", risked his career to hire some guy who smart mouthed him, threatened one of his coworkers for messing with Mike, and that's just off the top of my head
Mike is just as crazy, don't get me wrong, but so far Harvey is in the lead for being possessive as hell and wrapped around this guy's finger

season four pissed me off so bad because like the concept of mike giving his dead grandmas ring to a girl who cheated on him
suits 2x10
first time harvey visits mike's place, mike starts talking about what kind of father harvey would be, oh lord, do they not understand how gay that was lol

i keep getting stuck on this idea about how Suits never suggests that Harvey can't do his job without Mike. Like, Harvey's doing fine on his own. Mike certainly moves things along more quickly than other associates but Harvey would get there just fine. So, like, when Harvey repeatedly insists and demands and bargains and bends and breaks to get Mike back by his side, there is no plot-given reason for that desperation. So it's character-driven. Except Harvey doesn't push anyone else this hard repeatedly to get closer. He pushes people away, gets spooked easily, closes people or moves on. But not with Mike. From early on he just keeps finding ways to get Mike "back where he belongs" and keep him there. Harvey just wants Mike.
He just wants Mike with him.
the plot keeps pushing Mike away- fire him, let him quit, let him take another job, he's going to prison, he's starting over elsewhere, he doesn't want to, he's getting married and leaving. Even when Louis is the one to bring Mike back, Harvey was already working hard at it.
Harvey could have just let it happen at any point. At no point does having Mike with him actually resolve plot problems. But he's fighting the current at every turn. Harvey, a man who canonically has few close personal ties, is desperate to keep Mike close. Even as Mike is the reason his professional life crumbles, he wants Mike within reach. Goddamnit.
After the fall
Grown ass man. No car, no house, no wife, no human for dinner. Fucking loser.
Like what was the purpose of that grand dramatic turn around if not to show how good your ass looked

I wonder if Hannibal realizes that he sometimes behaves like the orphaned child that he is. There's something missing and it's the love that he should have received but was instead violently ripped from him.
In addition, Will is the only one who notices.
Hannibal's childlike wonder with the world, his anxious attachments, his mood swings, his possessiveness over the few people he lets himself be attached to, his need for everything to be exactly how he molded it, his jealousy at being sidelined by the few people he loves...
...and most of all his stubborn idea that everybody should be kind, polite and considering to each other, and if they aren't, the scared starved child in Hannibal will see to it that those Rude People can't hurt him anymore. He desperatly wants to keep on his rose colored glasses while the world keeps yanking them away. In order to get them back, he has to defeat and quite literally put down the people who keep ruining his illusion of a world where he is loved. He needs that illusion so much that he modelled his whole life to adhere to it, starting with a higher education, a respectable job, nice clothes, nice food for guests, etc, in hope that those things and atteibutes will make people love him.
Will understood this to be true both in Hannibal and in the Ripper, way before he knew they cohabitated in the same body. He understood that they both need to eliminate everything that threatens to break them, and it's a lot of things/ people, considering how fragile Hannibal and the Ripper are.
A lot of things/people have the audacity to hurt him, and once they do, Hannibal needs to assure himself that they'll never hurt him again, while also assuring himself that he was always superior to them (he does this by eating them) so to convince himself that they never really hurt him.
This way, he can keep convincing himself that the soldiers that ate Misha did not actually hurt him, since they are inferior to him —they are, since he hunted them down and consumed them; this demostrates their inferiority— and what's inferior to him can't really hurt him. ("Nothing [traumatic] happened to me")
The problem to this reasoning is that upon further scrutiny it crubles fast. And to keep it steady and straight, Hannibal needs to reassure himself of his invulnerability more and more often, with more show of force and superiority each time.
He's one of those pitiful things born in hospitals who miracolously survive their damned conditions and will forever be more vulnerable to the outside world; their only hope to not be shattered upon contact with others is to annihilate those others.
He is starved, most of all, of affection, and you know the saying "those who never received love with spoons, adapt to lick it off knives"? (It isnt the exact phrasing, I know). Well, he doesn't willingly lick knives and cuts himself; but since he never developed appropriate armour (aka, a healthy self esteem), every small slight from other people hurts him like a bitch, and the only way to make sure the pain doesn't come back is to waste the son of a bitch that caused it.
Do you guys sometimes just sit in awe thinking about how amazing this fandom is? I mean— The series ended ten years ago, had only three seasons, was made at a low cost because the creators and Hugh Dancy insisted on Mads Mikkelsen instead of Hugh Grant or someone else. And:
fans have created an entire universe based on the productions in which Hugh Dancy and Mads Mikkelsen starred
a convention dedicated to Hannibal takes place in London every year
Mads and Hugh are still friends
Mads and Hugh have been touring conventions since last year. The events sell out every time. It also happened thay they got the main convention hall, and even then, the event sold out
in the US, at their first convention together in years, the organizers had to extend the photoshooting hours of Mads and Hugh because they didn't expect such interest
Mads skipped the world premiere of the film he was starring in to fly to Japan with Hugh
in Japan, there was a special dinner as part of the convention (expensive). It sold out pretty fast
we randomly receive madancy photos every few years
fanart from the series hangs (or was hanging) in the United States Capitol (a government building!)
academic articles about the series are being written
fans often publish zines
a tons of fanfics and fanarts are still being created
[EDIT, because I have no idea how I dare to forgot] Fannibals also created a freakin' musical with their own songs and drawings (season 1-season 4)
