âIT HAS A FUCKING STAR WARS INTRO ON THE SCREENS ONSTAGE BEFORE THE SHOW THATS A PARODY OF THE OPENING CREDITS AND ITS SO FUNNY (I canât recall exactly what it said but you best believe once I remember Iâm posting it!)
âitâs way more videogamey than the original, for example sometimes it displays Jeremyâs stat bars/logs on other characters and little âlevelâ screens at the start of important scenes (for example, for the scene before ILPR a little graphic came up on the screens with text that read âlevel 2: play rehearsal)
âmichael was shaking and sobbing and stress stimming during MITB and it made me so sad (genuinely the most neurodivergent coded portrayal of a character I have ever seen)
âalso toms jeremy. Iâll do a bigger analysis on his portrayal specifically later bc Iâm tired as fuck but his jeremy is also very neurodivergent coded and is more confused and doesnât really understand the consequences of his popularity to begin with whilst also still being rlly loveable and awkward
âoh AND his jeremy has amazing chemistry with michael and christine and meshes really well with them both so⌠any boyf riends/stagedorks fans seeing this are gonna have the time of their lives

âsome of the lyrics of upgrade have been changed back to the two river ones (aka they added back that little bit about christine)

âas for how it works alongside lgw with them both being act 1 closers, lgw happens when it normally does and then at the end of that, all the popular characters surround jeremy and the squip says smth like ânow, sever your ties, or youâll both drown..â and they do a little upgrade reprise with end of the two river version
âback on it being more videogamey there are little achievement thingies with the little âachievement unlocked!â graphic lol. my personal fav was after jeremy kisses brooke in upgrade and it said âachievement unlocked: tonsil tennisâ
âand for the rest of the screens there was âachievement unlocked: cheater cheetahâ after jeremy is forced into kissing chloe in dywh and âachievement unlocked: winner geek whateverâ during voices in my head
â-and chloe doesnât feign sex with jeremy in DYWH to make jake jealous, instead she just forcibly makes out with him whilst heâs VERY uncomfortable
âwhen michael is being optic nerve blocked in sync up, he just stands in the bg and looks really sadly at jeremy and AAAGGHH
âjeremys squip went as trump for the halloween party and was literally wearing a fucking hat that said âmake jeremy great againâ
âbefore DYWH a parody of the pokemon fight menu for the older games appeared with a pixelated chloe and it just said âa wild hot girl approaches!â
âalso rich literally runs around directly asking the audience for mountain dew red in this production cuz the theatre is tiny. it was enlightening having âSERIOUSLY, WHERE THE FUCK CAN I GET SOME MOUNTAIN DEW RED?!?â screamed into my soul
âjeremy and christine literally vocal stim together before a guy that Iâd kinda be into reprise
âI know expensive headphones is canon now but rich was smirking at michael for all of the scene before voices in my head and it killed me
âalso toms jeremy is SO uncomfy in DYWH and it makes me so sad
âTHEY TOOK OUT MICHAEL HITTING THE BONG IN THE PANTS SONG. TRULY DEVASTATING. (Instead heâs reading but I canât make out what book yet)
