I hate how much people baby or downplay my medical trauma. No doctors haven’t just been mean to me?

I have vivid memories of being pinned down by multiple people to have tests done on me since I was a small child. imagine how damaging it is to be physically held down whilst you kick and scream for them to stop from as young as four???

doctors have made gross comments on my body and let their touched lingerie obviously longer then medically necessary. Every single issue and diagnosis condition will be treated like it’s nothing because I’m afab doctors will always suggest that my problems isn’t my severe disability but actually just my period or hormones like FUCK YOU MATE!!! This only got worse when they slapped trans on my chart

Lying and gaslighting for years from a team that was supposed to care for me which led to a lack of treatment which then lead to me developing multiple severe illnesses also wasn’t fun

all of this also doesn’t just effect me ability to get healthcare now which it does it takes so much energy to just go into a doctors office or hospital BUT also my normal life i regularly freak out when people touch me, i cannot be in a room with a medical drama on, i struggle to empathise with other who deal with issues with doctors because in my mind as long as you aren’t being pinned down that’s just normal even tho gaslight and dismissal aren’t normal!!
