Analyzing the politics of a work that's meant to be apolitical is actually a really interesting exercise because it asks you to critically examine what the creator considers to be "political" in the first place. Horror games don't work on me because I'm too gamer pilled. I'm not thinking about how scary the monster is I'm thinking about how to analyze and counter its attack patterns.
