Soo i never really had an issue with the designs but saw this

I WAS SO PRESSED ABOUT THE DESIGN LAST NIGHT. I lost my Wi-Fi for a bit, couldn’t access anything but my own saved photos and I could’ve taken this opportunity to work on showbiz panels
BUT I HAVE A POINT TO PROVE
The issue with Quest bendy/sinny is the fact that if you want to change his design, you either have to do a complete overhaul OR just change little details about him which is what I did.
Slightly changing the shape, a little tuft of hair at the top of his head, making his body a little more proportional for an 18 year-old without changing his height too much (the problem isn’t that he’s a short man the problem is that he looks like a child)
If you think his hair is ugly I’m sorry but he is NOT RECOGNIZABLE WITHOUT IT. HES JUST UGLY BRO. And you know what? I TRIED
I tried taking inspiration from his original design concepts, took some advice from my buddy @isaacz which honestly doesn’t really translate that well into my own style but that’s probably just a me problem. I made his hair more prominent I gave his original eyes back to him but again
IT DOESN’T LOOK RECOGNIZABLE!!!!
Not to mention it just looks like Bendy with side horns/hair. It’s a unique silhouette and I don’t hate the design, I actually quite like it a lot! But putting these designs side-by-side, well I think you get the picture.
The point of the brothers AU at the end of the day is to take the original quest boys and place them into the myth world, make them brothers of the myth cast, and see what ideas/shenanigans can brew from there.
What are their dynamics like, how do quest bendy/sinny differ to myth bendy, how to they get along, what has changed between the two characters and what fun ideas can we make out of that, etc.
If I were to MAJORLY change the designs, then that would ruin the point of the AU.
