Thats definitely a good way to see it! Its alot of playful teasing between the two and fun banter. Or at least thats how i imagine it.
Calix’s love language is.. weird. It’s like, the more he cares about something the harder it is for him to show it. Playful teasing is the healthiest way for him to sort of show that affection. I imagine as his walls sort of slowly break down, thats when he’ll lean more into being intentionally physically affectionate and sweet.
I wanted to sort of change sinny’s sort of “loves to flirt with the ladies” part of his OG quest counterpart. He’s definitely still interested in a relationship! He’s just.. not very good at being intentionally flirty? Like he’s trying to imitate Felix the cat’s charm but it over all comes off as incredibly cringe. Its when he DOESN’T over think things that it tends to go smoother. Who would’ve thought being himself is what his partner wants.
Tbh i imagine after starting the relationship their dynamic is ROCKY at best. Sinny over compensating charisma and Calix reacting poorly to affection. Just give em some time, it’s probably their first relationship.

Yeah! I had a lot of fun with their refs specifically. Showing the differences with subtle changes from the duo vs boris’s sheet was a bit annoying but ultimately worth it!
