had a plush toon hc idea and felt the need to share since. Yk. Plush toons (coastalcake and explosivehandbook save me /silly)
After a wedding ceremony, I believe that the plush toons sew around each other’s candy hearts with the color of their own heart. This is to show their devotion and commitment, as they allow their partner to do something that displays their trust with something so fragile and basically saying their heart is theirs.

If the toon they are marrying is NOT a plush toon, then it’s a color of their partner’s choosing. If their heart colors are similar or the same, they could also choose the color, but it is traditional to use white yarn. I wanted to draw other ships as examples for these but ibis paint keeps tweaking out on me sighhh 😔

Finally done with this piece for swap!bowlboy! I might make this the blog's new banner tbh...
Oh and little detail some might miss- the flowers in the picture are hellebores, flowers typically associated with madness and insanity.
There are also many different colors for the plant, but I chose green because well..ever heard the phrase "green with envy?"
