i love hearing that, though also feel the urge to apologize if it's been too many times for you. i never really think about how anything i've done can be a comfort movie. though that one? it does have the potential to be one! you could? i would be amazed if i even remember any of my lines. if we're just talking movies, i'm thinking alien romulus is the one that gets brought up? though superman is probably a close second. i have been in a few! what about you? i assume people still bring up outerbanks to you all the time.

Next time he decides to watch it I'm recording him and making him act it out. Will drop it online for you to see and give him a grade. Grade him harshly please. Action movie, you know one based far more in action and get to do a little more of the stunts and see how that goes. Get there's a limit to everything we're allowed to physically do but still being able to do a little more stunts on something a bit more trying than me jumping off a boat into water. Would love to avoid another role with me dying... that seems to be a running theme for me..

Well, you know, I always liked ya when you came around. So you shouldn't be surprised by the praise. Always knew you were talented, even if I think you get snubbed far more than you deserve. I can play a little bit but apparently it's not up to par with.. much! Think people seem to forget I'm an actor not a musician but I wouldn't say no either.

I feel like people assume that actors are confident all the time and don't get nervous as much anymore because they're used to doing their job. However, what's something that still makes you nervous? For me, it's performing, like before I hit the stage, I just get this insane rush of adrenaline and feeling anxious.

That assumption is very wrong, at least for me. I've been pretty open about my struggles with confidence and being overwhelmed by the public in general. There's a lot of fake it mentality that I do, and feel like probably for a good portion of actors. Maybe the more seasoned, top actors of the world don't have that issue and makes sense. Anytime I'm going out for a new project, anytime I'm interacting with fans and worried that I'm going to disappoint them. So, do you ever just feel hyped and ready to get on stage or is it always anxious.

I had some skating lessons, but I think it didn't do much because I still suck on the ice. I actually cut my hand on the last day of filming, but I managed to push through it and finish the scene. So far, the fans have been very respectful, but part of me is just anxious that could change soon and I don't want that to happen. And messing things up also scares the hell out of me. How did you mess up?

Takes time to adjust to skating on the ice. I've skated a lot before, I'm decent at that but hockey feels like a lot more to tackle so after only one season - or I guess two, you've filmed or are filming the second season? Shit, cut it on the blade? But I get it, season one of Outer Banks I got stung by a jellyfish in the foot during a scene in the water that was a pretty intense fight and just continued through it. Felt like we had to just get through it. Think there's different level of fans as long as you don't go looking into things you probably will stick with those fans that are respectful for the most part. I had an issue with social media I recorded a lot on set behind the scenes and it made fans a little aggressive over specific things. Oh I messed up a lot of ways, like I said reading into fan things, not speaking up on things I probably should have as far as the show went.

We're in the same circle lately? Somehow I must have missed that - because definitely did not think we ran in the same circles of people. You love what I do? You mean Outer Banks because that ship has sailed, or some of my other projects?

So I want to say that as a fan of Outer Banks, I was completely gutted when your character died because you were one of my favorite characters and the way it all went down pissed me off so much. I wanted to start a petition #justiceforjj and I really hope it happens in the final season. Its not going to be the same without you man. @rudypankowfm

You're a fan of Outer Banks? Gotta say that's a surprise, wouldn't have expected you to know about a silly little Netflix treasure hunting show. Kinda cool. Yeah... seems like a lot of people weren't a fan of losing JJ and it was hard to let him go but I've always said it made sense that he'd sacrifice his own life for his friends, and dying to protect someone he loves seems pretty on brand if it kept Kiara alive. Trust me, there were petitions and a lot of people are freaking out about the idea of the blue crown since the trailer dropped. Just saw it myself the other day and yeah, it's gonna be different but you have some amazing people holding the show down that are gonna kill it from start to finish.

it's definitely been, i'll be real with you. it was the biggest surprise to us since back when expecting and learning twins were on the way. it's very true - and i really get it now being a mother. it doesn't need to level to mine, just your top bittersweet moment, as this is definitely mine. that's a huge change and seems to be working out well for you.. but i get how hard that can be. i do hope you make time to go back and see family and maybe enjoy your hometown sometimes. i think that's always my favourite when i have the chance.

Think twins are always kind of a surprise, when they happen naturally isn't it? Feel like no one goes in and thinks definitely going to have twins unless you're doing IVF and stuff like that. At least that's what I remember told to me when I've had some friends go through it. Think I'm doing okay for taking the chance and moving out to LA. I'm definitely glad I went for it because there were times I considered not doing it but then landed OBX. Oh yeah! I've gone back to visit the family that's still there. It's always good going back home. But honestly most of them enjoy coming out and visiting or staying with me these days.

Shout out to your friends for saying that cause I agree with them. You should go and watch it. I know people are getting hyped for everything Marvel coming out but us folks at DC are still around, ha. I'd love to go back at some stage if it was a possibility. I can still speak the language. Could say the same for you and OBX, though. Not seeing you on the screen this season will be hard.

Some day I will get to it, sometimes I can't sit still long enough and I've noticed super hero movies always seem to be over two hours long. Believe the new Spider-Man is too and my brother has been begging me to give in and go see it with him. DC is a classic, not that Marvel isn't great. They have a little bit for everyone, never understood why you have to be one or the other. Speak the language oh, what was that called High Valyrian. Remember that from Game of Thrones. Yeah... I keep hearing that but think they're really going to do something good for the final season. The ones who are important are there.

i was and loved it! you are not alone with that feeling. i wish that we had been able to give it a proper ending. that is true! there was going to be a short four episode season, but they broke our hearts and said no! what do you have going? i've been wanting to see more of you after we said goodbye to jj.

Think it's hard, it seems like Amazon shows are just always on the brink of either you get everything you want or suddenly it's just done and over. Not a knock, but just what I've noticed from some shows. Damn, that's too bad think they really should have sucked it up and given the four episodes, what would it have hurt. I'm currently filming a movie with Sarah Michelle Gellar which is pretty awesome, never expected that. Slowly working on some projects, got a few movies out there, couple music videos I was in. Just a little while, yeah. What sort of things do we have to catch up on? I mean, it's not like we completely burned bridges with each other, right? There's still a bond that we're going to have forever. What've you been doing? Been pretty good - about to do a whole lot of press. Have to admit it'll be weird without you there.

Just life in general, it's been a bit. Life's been busy with a few projects and I've turned into a bit of a hermit. No - no, I know. Mean there was some tension but glad that at least the guys seem good. Can't break a bond after we were in the literal trenches as some point. Filming mostly, broke up with Elaine. Yeah, working through your filmography slowly but surely. Only have so much time in between different things but I manage something here or there. Okay, well... only if the Swedish films come with English subtitles, if they don't I kind of have given up on those because I get more frustrated not knowing what is being said. Have seen Hemlock Grove already, remember hearing about that when it first came out on Netflix. It was one of the first Netflix originals which is pretty huge, kind of lead the way so I ended up on a show that was the same thing.

I have done a couple of collabs over the summer and it has been so much fun One, I am just honoured to be asked and two it has for sure given me the bug. I have some songs recorded, writing some more. I am pretty sure I have the concept for the next album in my head so now it's just about finishing it all.

Feels like you're kind of the artist of the summer, or so that's what I'm catching from what I've hearing radio DJs say, which is pretty cool. Gotta admit I'm glad I am not in the music industry, my talents lasts on a few clips of me playing the piano and a few music videos I've been asked to be in. Given the commentary I've gotten on my piano playing, I'd never survive.
