Death And Destruction. Back-story: Ex-pat banker Howard Glaston was lost in the desert in Saudi Arabia and encountered a mage claiming to worship Dhu Shara. When Howard tries to escape the mage creates a powerful spell which, in a flash heat ray, causes Howard to become a thing akin to glass. His personal life is torn apart by this but he his left with the curse to shed large shards of glass, an ability he quickly finds useful in ridding him of his enemies. With his origin told we rejoin the battle when things take a turn for the worst, one of Robert’s father’s colleagues tracks down Robert but gets killed by Shard in the process.
