wednesday, balling her fists and making sure to avert get eyes: her wanting me back.

wednesday, shaking her head: i...wouldn't know how to go on. hell, the only brush with romance i had consisted of a single date and one kiss. and i was being manipulated the whole time.

bianca: well...if that's your concern, how about letting her lead, hm? make your feelings known and just, y'know? wait for her.

wednesday, blinking: i hadn't considered that as a possibility.

bianca, huffing: of course not, miss control issues.

wednesday rolls her eyes.

wednesday: but what if...i'm not good enough?

bianca: that girl sacrificed herself for you, what? three times already? i fear you're already more than enough.

wednesday: ...true.

bianca: yeah. if you need help setting up a grand romantic gesture please tell me.

wednesday: why? so you'd laugh at me?

wednesday: you like me.

enid: I do, yes.

wednesday: that's...okay.

enid: ....?

wednesday: ....this is not a rejection.

enid: is it an acceptance?

wednesday: ...no.

so enid, after the first few very awkward days, takes it as permission to flirt.

and, oh boy, flirt she does. wednesday doesn't respond, not really, but she sometimes blushes and that's more than enough for enid. she also never tells her to stop.

wednesday claims she's conducting an experiment on her own heart rate and blood flow. she finds she's not opposed to enid's attempts of courting her and even decides to indulge her in one or another date. a part of her is, of course, concerned enid may move on before she can find anything definite but her roommate swears this is isn't just a crush

when wednesday finally finds that maybe she would like it if they started dating enid refuses to accept that as a question. since she went through so much effort for almost one year she wants wednesday to be sure and won't accept anything without a 'proper addams date'
