Ben is soft but very nice to pet, and he seems to enjoy the petting very much, shufflng closer to Gem to get more pets.

“He might nibble on your fingers a bit, but that’s about it.” Mix lifts Ben up and sets him on the table in easy reach of Gem. Ben seems miffed about losing his warm seat, but does nothing further.

To Mix’s credit, she seemed interested, rather than confused or scared at how Gem looked. “Ah, I see. Sort of like me, I guess.” Mix comments as she pets Ben. Ben seems to be staring quite closely at Gem, eyes almost curious.

“Oh, he’s Ben. Followed Sky all over so we brought him with. He’s pretty intelligent so we crack jokes that he’s just a cursed player.” Mix waves one hand dismissively, to which Ben squawks at her. Intelligent chicken, amazing.
