I keep thinking about this line and how long it's been in game since he said it. :)))
They're selling gay pronouns in the Half Price Books DVD clearance section for pride month. #ally
Bitch we're ALL the problematic transsexual you were warned about via call out posts and news articles. Do not betray your siblings in the struggle, we are all next.
"But what if they did x, y, and/or z! They need to be held accountable!"
I means it's honestly unlikely they did x, y, and/or z. Most call out posts are just bullshit lies or so taken out of context that they're just as fraudulent as a bullshit lie.
However, if they did? A callout post is useless. It's utterly pointless.
A callout post does nothing but:
Isolate the supposed perpetrator, making it impossible for them to stay in a community that would otherwise be able to go "Hey bro/sis/sib, that was fucked, let's talk about it and fix it".
Puts a spotlight on the possible victim that prevents them from recovery or healing.
Creates drama that creates damage for all parties.
And that's if their was any truth in the post.
A callout post that's just a bunch of garbage though? That:
Isolates the victim of the slander, leaving them volunrable to attacks and harassment
Feeds into transphobia both generalized and specific to the victim of slander
Creates infighting, gatekeeping, and policement of the community
Often forces people who had nothing to do with the initial drama to take part in a now ever delevoping drama, which creates more callout posts, more slander, more harrasment, and more attacks on community members. Most often effecting the most marginalized members of out community.
Forces people to view content that is often triggering and demands that they make a moral statement about it, while trying to process or cope with the content.
Creates room for Terfs, tehms, radfems, and transphobes of all brands, to stick their ugly heads in and go "see, I was right about the trans cult, do you see what monsters they are".
There is never a valid reason for a callout post. There is no callout post that has ever successfully "held someone accountable for their actions" and there is no callout post that has not done damage to our community.

Guys if you want queer shit written by queers on our own terms you're going to have to start seeking out weird independent media. I'm sorry that's the only place you can regularly find it idk what to tell you, we can't keep acting like there's nothing if we're not getting blockbusters and triple A titles or whatever it is we're waiting around for. The thing you keep saying you want is already being offered for free by one person making a passion project on the internet and you would both benefit enormously if you interacted with it instead of lamenting that the only options we have for representation are pandering afterthoughts from corporate shit
I say this with so, so much care: Real queer shit written by real queers can and will sometimes make you uncomfortable. That's one of the defining features of weird, independent queer media. And weird independent media more broadly. Art that comes from true individual passion and authenticity has edges and bite to it that mass market corporate products intentionally do not. Has a rawness that can offend.
You are allowed to feel uncomfortable about it. But don't ask for queers to self censor for your comfort.
jeez. sorry you didn't like it.

Do u guys ever think abt how SWTOR holds the world record for the largest voiceover project EVER with over 200,000 LINES??WHAT?? and a cast of 314 PEOPLE??? Like wtf thats so cool
that the consular is the most powerful force user of their era in terms of raw force. that they canonically possess so much force affinity only seen when revan was still around. that when they're gone, after time untold, their resting place will remain a force nexus. that they've been delegated as the peacekeeper of their order; that if they choose to keep the alliance separate from the republic, they get excommunicated from the jedi. that they have the means to start tearing people apart left and right but are wont to swallow their anger down. whatever. whatever. i don't care! whatever

There's something about the way that Sith Warrior sacrifices Freedom for Power and Sith Inquisitor chases Power for Freedom.
Everything is handed to the Sith Warrior. They are Sith nobility - or at least on good standing in the Empire. They get through their trials via favoritism and sheer blunt Force because they are so powerful. They are practically handed a Sith Apprenticeship.
They could want for nothing and yet here they are seeking more power. And they get it at the price of obedience. They Serve. They're undefeated, each task seemingly easy. Until they are discarded and then picked up again - this time at a higher rank until they are the highest ranking Sith in the entire Empire next to the Emperor himself. Every step they take towards power shackles them more until they are the second most powerful Sith in the Empire and they can do nothing with it. They are little more than an attack dog, waiting for a Master that will never return and didn't care in the first place. They're scolded for any unauthorized use of their power, expected to wait obediently.
Sith Inquisitor starts with nothing and has the exact opposite experience as the Warrior. Every obstacle possible is put in their path. They are sabotaged and abused and undermined at every turn only to come out on top. Again and again they defy fate and every single time they break another shackle, gathering power that separates them from the slave they once were. Becoming a Sith is what freed them and in becoming a Dark Council Member, there are very few that have any control over them now. The power they have isn't even theirs. They have to take it and learn to take it until they are truly Free.
The Sith Warrior is given power and the Sith Inquisitor takes power.
