Ivana Kupala is a traditional Ukrainian holiday celebrated on the night of July 6-7, associated with the summer solstice and ancient pagan rituals in honor of the god of the sun and water. The main symbols of the holiday are fire and water. People weave wreaths, jump over bonfires, and look for a fern flower, which, according to legend, brings happiness.

The holiday is also associated with purification and healing: fire purifies and water washes away illness and negativity. The traditions of this holiday combine Christian and pagan elements.
