Saint Camillus de Lellis was an Italian soldier that overcame his gambling habit and other vices to become a Capuchin Priest. After he received permission from his confessor, St. Philip Neri, he founded the Camillian order to minister to the sick and wounded soldiers, building hospitals and the first field medical units in the battlefield. The red cross symbol was their sign of charity and service. After years of suffering from a battle wound, he died in Rome.

This is the Grave of Maria Magdalena Langhans by Johann August Nahl. Nahl was hosted by the pastor and his pregnant 28yo wife Maria Magdalena when she died during childbirth. Moved by this, he decided, by himself and without being commissioned to do so by anyone to make this grave for her. It became a huge place of pilgrimage for the next 150 years.

I never even watched The Boys past the first season, and even then understood Vought(?) was supposed to be the bad guy. Seemed a bit over the top and weird but there we go. It's only the subsequent seasons that everyone from each side says became a ridiculously over-the-top attempt to make about the US president.
