you know what’s a really underrated kanej scene? when they are on the roof of the ice court and inej cups his cheek. she just gave him back his gloves that she wore and she tells him she’s going to leave ketterdam when they get back and then she touches his cheek. like this is the first time they have skin to skin contact. and it says ‘she could see it took every last bit of his terrible will for him to remain still benath her touch. and yet, he did not pull away.’ like i scream every time. these two make me go feral

i’m just now realizing that kaz always has his brows deeply furrowed right, as we well know, even when he’s being soft with inej they just stay looking so angry…but in the scene where he tells inej that he wants her they curve upward, and he looks so boyish. so afraid. and for a moment he isn’t kaz brekker anymore. he’s kaz rietveld again.

Losing my mind because Kaz always looks for people's tells/weaknesses, and he does this with Ohval too, he finds her husband. Then she says "He's not my weakness. He's my universe." and Kaz Brekker, who believes Inej Ghafa to be his weakness and almost constantly pushes her away because of it, hears that and it changes his perspective and he allows himself to open up to Inej about his hallucination, dares to beg her to stay in the finale, admits out loud that he wants her. Ohval's words gave him hope and–
