A House-Blessing Prayer, to the Theoi
Hear now, great ones, where you reside above and all around The lifting of my voice and the bells I ring to you By open window and incense travel To scatter among the birds and out to your radiant and mighty halls Follow me here to the place of my resting Bring your gaze down onto me and accept the gifts laid for you First to Hestia, most honored one, bearer of all sacred flame I ask of you as your servant that you reside here in this house as you do in all others And take your rightful place in its heart Where I might revere you always and speak to you often Then to Zeus, watcher over all, who guards both from above and from within That I might recieve the blessing of your protection over all my house And all my prosperity in it, that it be preserved and redoubled onto me To find your well-keeping of me forever and to give gratitude to you in turn To Hermes, all-guiding giver of fair fortunes I ask that all my comings and goings be seen to well And that the best of luck and ease would be brought onto me That the far flung words of the immortals would pass well into my house And last to Hekate, mistress of the gates Take my offerings to you and guard me well Let knowing and success come onto me And turn away whatever fell spirits may reach my door With all these I offer myself to you In my words, my heart and my actions I say it seven times over Before your shrine and all the doors and windows Calling your names from the front of my house to the back With this giving gifts to you, oil and wine and honey And begging you reside here always so that I may worship you always

Influence on My Path: Master List
Initial General Disclaimer: I do not know any of these authors personally, have no ideas at all to their character, and am not speaking about anything here but the content they make. I do not agree with every aspect of every item, but they have provided substantial direction and foundation for my practice (whether positively or negatively). There is no organization here aside from media types and this is deliberate. You are capable of seeking these titles, reading a synopsis, and reviews. Lastly this list is in no ways complete (I am always learning and consuming media) or all encompassing, as I have very likely forgotten certain items. Use it to do with whatever you wish, I always will encourage buying books second hand and supporting your local libraries.

This week's guided meditation is with Hekate Brimo!
Hekate Brimo is the Angry One or The Terrifying One. This epithet was a name that Hekate was called by or identified as in ancient literature, including by Medea in the Argonautica and in Alexandra by Lycophron. She was the maiden daughter of Perses and turned Queen Hecuba into a dog.
Typically in modern practice, we associate this epithet with fierce transformation, intensity, shadow work, justice, courage, and strength.
Let me know what you think :) I hope you enjoy!
