This is my commonplace notebook. Art, magic, reminders to keep going
Animist, pagan, practitioner. My magic is basically "hmm this seems like it might work, let us experiment!" If anything I my not a spell person, I'm an artificer-- I love to make things infused with magic and have them act as anchor points through which different type of energy and magic flow. I do not call myself a witch or belong to any kind of specific tradition and the more I have tried to steep myself in specific traditions in the past the more they didn't fit. I love hearing about magic people make up themselves and their UPG. The more specific and weird and kind of cringe adjacent the better.
I love embroidery magic, using the spirits of symbols, and spirit work in general. I mostly work with 3 spirits and I'm starting to work with the land that I've recently moved to.
I believe you can do magic without knowing it/calling it that and many people have practiced magic their whole lives without saying that's what it is.
here are some of my favorite tags:
personal magic this is where I post all the magical workings I do, or thoughts I have
reminders for ai is the tag I use for when I'm weary of the world and need a reminder for why it's worth it all, all the pain and struggle (it is specifically not anything to do with generative AI)
resource guide is for info dumps, useful links, or collections of knowledge
I reblog posts for two of my spirits under B and unicorns. Come back to this is usually because I really do want to keep coming back to the post! I use this tumblr for myself mostly so I try to make sure I can always find the things I'm genuinely interested in again. Anything I tag is for myself and myself alone. I'd love to chat and get to know those who are kind and interested, but I keep this as a space for myself to look back on for the most part.
