#not only bcs trash goblin brain likes angst

#and now (hopefully!) well get some fun eps and scenes and dunamics w the rest of the love square
#give us this one astruc plsplsplpspslpslls
Like, how the writers got us to Adrien liking Marinette was weird, like, I guess I can buy him being a little uhh asldkjfhas curious about her after the "wax statue" thing, and I personally "buy" it more after the short, canon, MariChat stint for example,
But like, the Adrinette in S6, it's like, I do believe Adrien is romantically attracted to Marinette but that boy, as his civilian self, seemed to be so deep in [grieving-son-LARP] and [sentibeing-figuring-himself-out] that it felt like he was autopiloting being Marinette's boyfriend.
Like his attraction to Marinette was believable but his actions expressing those feelings (again, as Adrien) were giving "going-through-the-motions".
But moments like Chat abandoning all planning to focus on rescuing Marinette in Secret Protocol, or being amazed at the Illusion Marinette(s, honestly both of them but he didn't know that) being so real, were moments where I was like, yeah actually I really believe in his attraction to Marinette.
It's just that being Adrien is such LARP for him at this point that I want to see more MariChat and more Adrien just BEING Chat more. It's also why I want Marinette to pack it up and tell him the truth because I feel like that'll help free Adrien from his Good Grieving Son LARP that he maintains as Adrien.
