been going through spiritual dryness lately and it doesn't help that ive had a sinus infection for over a week now so i haven't gone to church or ocia for two weeks, and don't have the energy to do much faith wise (or just in general). so does anyone have any low energy things i could do to help?

im now fully initiated into the Catholic church!!!! it was such an AMAZING experience :)

it's officially locked in, my confirmation saint is St Kateri Tekakwitha! she's been the saint ive had the closest connection to since i first found out about her, and im happy to have her as my patron :)

had a queer Catholic canon event today (the Priest made a quick homophobic comment in his homily)

the ocia team brings in extra things they have for us sometimes; books, crucifixes, prayer cards, etc. when i signed in this week, right above the sign in sheet was a book called "This Too Shall Pass; Keeping Faith in Difficult Times". ive been having a really rough time mentally lately, which i won't get into to avoid triggers but you can imagine. and with this rough time mentally, ive been having a hard time with keeping up the faith and doubt, so this book title immediately jumped out to me. i didn't grab it at first, but i thought about it the whole class, so as soon as it ended i got up and grabbed it. i think the book being there period is a sign from God which is great on its own, but im looking forward to reading it and using the prayers in it

hi all, prayer request. last semester i had a teaching job that i LOVED. like really really loved. i applied for it again next semester and was just informed i didn't even get to the interviews. im trying to keep from just sobbing my eyes out. idk what I'm asking for prayers for, just that i can be comforted i guess. thank you
