my period’s agonies keep shape shifting like some sort of primordial trickster creature type. for the first time in my life, i experienced intense nausea and had to take anti-nausea medication because it was nearly debilitating. like i knew nothing would come up but ohhhhhhh the feeling was there! wonder what my body is going to surprise me with next month!

the uncountable ways women willingly humiliate and degrade themselves for men and for men’s approval are as tragic and as depressing as watching someone perform unnecessary surgical procedures until they are so deformed neither you nor they even recognize who they were anymore. and it’s so similar to the parable of the frog. it happens so gradually they don’t even realize it.
