Let's be against "animal extinction" while also supporting a *co-product* (not a by-product because these corporations are still making money off of it) of industrial animal agriculture which inherently exploits domesticated animals and harms wildlife populations. Let's shit on microplastics for harming the environment while ignoring the fact that leather tanning in and of itself requires copious amounts of water and pollutes waterways with chromium and other toxins. Let's pretend pleather's popularity is because it was invented for vegans rather than adopted by fast fashion to mass produce cheap clothing just like polyester was.
