So I’m playing Genshin Impact and… Damn, Kaeya is hot. So I kinda wanted some icons of this babe… and here they are! Feel free to use, just reblog if you do. I used the official manga pages.

When i saw them together in Genshin for the first time i was immediately intrigued (mmmn fire/ice dynamic ❄️🔥) only to get a bucket of water aka “brothers” thrown at me, and that is NOT my slice of cake :( (no offense to those who do like it) But the actual Chinese meaning is basically found family (hello??! best trope is best), but somehow even better. And then there’s the angst in their backstories…delicious…😳 Turns out kaeluc is EXACTLY my type of cake wdyk

Also i’m glad i found the twitter thread explaining what it actually means, it also explains a lot about other chinese media i was consuming…. I always like knowing the intended cultural meanings, it makes it that much more special, and chinese culture is very rich and fascinating
