I’m not sure why some transmeds/truscum claim to know a lot about pyschology and then shame neopronouns.

if you’re one of these people: you obviously are only in one part of pyschology. (1)

some basic understandings that I believe everyone learns/needs to learn when they get into pyschology is that: it will not conform to you or your views all the time. nor will it always make you comfortable, or put a pillow under your head.

pyschology is so twistedly complicated that you will not always be able to figure it out or “agree” but it exists. and it will continue to exist.

most people who use neopronouns are nuerodivergent, and being neurodiverse comes with complicated internal thoughts and emotions. these emotions also cause nuerodivergent people to experience gender differently. (2)

by being against neopronouns, especially after the person who is using them says they’re nuerodivergent, you’re being ableist.

To elaborate why this is worse: Art and religion are all well and good. But information can be critical. When libraries burn, information can be lost forever. Because we photograph art. We have blueprints of the Cathedral. The Notre Dame cathedral did not burn to the ground, only the wooden structures did. The entire library and everything within is gone here. Another reason this is worse? It was DELIBERATE. It was bombed. Accidents like Notre Dame happen all the time. But bombings don’t have to happen. So yeah, if you cared about Notre Dame, logically you should care about this too,
