I had to sit back and watch someone get detained by ICE today. I had to watch the news and see that the fucking president is lying to everyone because it's as easy as shitting his pants to him. I had to see a video of people in Gaza losing everything they have in this world, including each other. I keep getting political ads from stupid fucking politicians who want to ban trans people fromf fucking existing and spreading hate in the people that I brush shoulders with. I have to bite my fucking tongue all day in order to get places I need to be so I can help the people I want to help. I grew up having to read the bible and coming to terms with the fact that not a single person in my life comprehended the words in those passages. I grew up learning important lessons from superheros about how to do good and what it means to lose everything and still want to do that good. And you're asking me why I'm fucking political??? Because I'm a Spider-Man blog????
People who are superhero fans and MAGA or people who "don't get involved in politics" truly don't understand what they're reading. Superman is an immigrant. Supergirl too. Bruce Wayne funnels millions into charities to support unhoused people. Loki is gender fluid and shifts genders.
Why wouldn't someone who loves Spider-Man, Batman, and many other superheroes, get vocal about the injustices being done within our communities? After all "ANYONE can wear the mask". That doesn't just mean swinging around and stopping purse snatchers, that means standing up for what you believe in and fighting back when you see corrupt systems hurting people.
So tired of people who think "Spiderman blogs" and the like shouldn't be political. Everything is political as long as politics are used to control who gets rights and bodily autonomy.

But nope. Hes in a new universe that has completely different heroes, and more importantly, completely different memes (what the hell is "do the butts match"??) And this place has a distinct lack of one Tony Stark
So Peter basically starts up Stark Enterprises in NY again bc he poor and its what Tony (probably) wouldve wanted. He had to pay for this metabolism somehow
But obviously peter needed an investor or twenty, but who needs more than one when Brucie Wayne exists?? Hes like a hunkier yet still bimbo Tony, and practically throws his money at any sad looking teen
But Brucie wayne ends up taking him under his wing, bc hes like. An 18/19 year old CEO and he is Very Concerned abt how this kid not only invented a new type of metal (vibranium) and a very powerful form of energy (arc reactors), so he pays extra attention bc he does NOT need a villain running around with that kind of power and intelligence to back it

Like a month ago I messaged a craft group about accessibility for wheelchairs and the answer I got was “there’s a lot of stairs but we have cute boys who can carry you”. And it’s…not good. As a wheelchair bound person I largely depend on people when I want to go out and do *anything* so I’m used to it, I laugh it off, make an annoyed post about it and off I go. But I wanna just say a thing real quick.
Even if I wasn’t gay, wasn’t a survivor scared of men, getting help as a disabled person is just…Not a pleasant thing to us! Imagine for a sec how you’d feel being carried up a flight of stairs. You’re a grown person. You’re being touched in an awkward way. You’d rather do it yourself. You’re So Uncomfortable. It’s not where I look for the beginning of a romantic relationship. So like…could abled people stop doing this thing where they think helping us in a condescending and infantilizing way is cute? Cause I’m real tired. Just get me a ramp or lift and I’m cool. I don’t need a dating service when I’m just trying to go about my day
