Burying myself deep in the closet 😔

I really wanna come out and finally be my true self irl instead of just on tumblr but my parents are really unsupportive and they'd make a big deal of it, and I live in a very conservative area. Not to mention I have no money of my own so I can't afford makeup, clothes, or anything gender affirming for myself. If my environment was safer and more accepting I'd already be out to everyone by now, but I'm just too horrified of being assaulted, harassed, disowned, or denied opportunities in life for being a trans woman. So I guess for now I have to accept being seen as a man, because the alternative means putting myself in danger. Gender shouldn't be a choice between safety and happiness. I should be able to have both.
