A lesson about love [REWRITING] (on Wattpad) https://my.w.tt/HXVdKyXDQ9 {studentxteacher} The smell of freshly ground coffee welcomed me as I entered the local cafe. It was a typical Monday morning. I said hi to the barista across the counter, and I asked for the usual. The cafe was filled with people. School aged kids in their uniform laughing, chucking down their last sips of coffee, middle aged man and women quietly enjoying the environment, reading the newspaper. My eyes slowly traveled across the room, and stopped at a young blonde sitting by the wall sized windows. She just hung up on a call, and placed her phone on the desk slowly. I noticed something in the way she moved. She seemed anxious, and sad, maybe angry even. She took a deep breath, and I watched as her chest rose and fell shakily. I decided to stay and watch the beautiful stranger for another minute, while I sipped on my coffee. She stared into her cup, slowly lifting it to her lips, taking the tiniest sips. It seemed almost like she couldn't swallow the drink. She tacked a wavy blonde lock behind her ear, and looked outside. She seemed short, but not shorter then me. Her arms were strong, I could tell by the way the grey sweatshirt hugged her upper arm tightly. I could see as her eyes were searching something or someone on the street. She might be waiting for someone. A friend, or a date perhaps. She turned her face back towards the room and I saw tears appearing in the inner corner of her eyes, but her face expression did not change. She held back her emotions, and wiped her face before her tears could run down her face.
