An Attempt at Hiding in the Vampire’s Noble Mansion
Vampire Commander!Sephiroth x fem!Reader X Vampire Prince! Rufus Shinra.
You are a maid that works for Sephiroth despite knowing that he’s a vampire and every worker here is a vampire except for you. You are trying to ensure that no one knows that your a human here, including Rufus the prince.
Tw: Blood(Cuz vampires and stuff)
Haven’t posted for like over a month, wanted to make this for Halloween but it’s already over.
Evening sky, servants finishing up with their work. You had just finished sweeping the floor, walking on the sidelines right beside the red long carpet where the commander steps on.
You worked within the mansion for money. Since royal-related work including servant work paid much more, you took the job.
The general with wealth big enough to buy your entire family and powers strong enough to rip someone into shreds in a matter of seconds. You had taken a glance at the fine man yourselves, his long silver hair and sharp teeth that would show with each speech he makes.
Everyone here had eyes that would often flicker red, you had to double check that your fake sharp teeth were on you exactly how any other vampires would have it on. You even had purposely sharpen your fingernails to make it look sharp like a vampire but you obviously can’t use it.
“Ladies! We have a big banquet coming up!” The head maid announces, her voice echoes through the halls. “Keep the place spotless and the ballroom! Especially the ballroom!” The head maid stated, the maids nodded. Rushing over towards the ballroom.
You quickly followed the others at the back, taking each step with your long maid dress down the long hallways and out to the ballroom. You could hear people wiping the floors and preparing tables.
“You! Could you possibly help out with the chefs?” One of the maids asked, her sharp teeth poked out from her mouth while her sharp eyes were looking at you.
“Sure,” You agreed, handing the broom to the maid without any skin contact before trying to quickly make your way to the kitchen. You just had to walk down one more hallway and the main kitchen will be there, the main kitchen for events as the other kitchen was used for the commander’s personal dining.
Although you do sometimes get yourselves mixed up with the two due to their appearances being exactly the same but just in different locations.
Entering one of the kitchens, you see blood splatter across the floor as someone’s hands clenching a pale body. Poor timing, the commander was drinking blood from someone, definitely a human as the mouth has no sharp teeth.
“Commander Sephiroth! I apologize for barging here,” You apologized, bowing down. Turning your body to reach for the door handler.
“Clean this up,” Sephiroth ordered, you bowed again, hurriedly going into one of the kitchen rooms for a mop and a water bucket. The lord was still here, watching you cover the body with a sheet, the guy’s body had his blood drained too dry to be revived as a vampire. Pale skin and blue lips were clearly seen by just a glance.
When you were about to fully cover the body, Sephiroth’s hands reached down to grab the person's neck. You paused, you could feel a slight brush of the commander's skin, his pale skin grazing your hands by accident. Your heart went into a rage as you instinctively pulled back away from Sephiroth.
The commander looked at you before back at the dead body, ripping the human's head away from the body. Blood starts to drip down from its neck, Sephiroth licked it clean, you felt your stomach doing flips. Looking away as you hurriedly cover the body fully with a sheet. Bagging it quickly to then carry the body out of the kitchen.
“Take the body as food,” Sephiroth said, his eyes were completely red now, like blood red.
“Yes commander, I shall take it for my coworkers,” You agreed, Sephiroth frowned.
“I meant you. Drink the body,” Sephiroth said, your eyes widened, your arms began to slip the body away from you. Palms sweaty while dizzily looking at the blood stained sheets. Was he testing you? Don’t tell me he had figured out that you were a human. What would he do if he found out you're a human? Kill you?
“I am still full from last supper, commander,” You excused, bending your knees in a courtesy. Sephiroth raised an eyebrow, his eyes were still on you.
“You don’t look quite full, you look almost starved,” Sephiroth stated, you had forgotten to wear makeup, your skin wasn’t as pale as the others and your lips weren’t as red as them.
“Eat.” Sephiroth’s eyes were getting more concentrated on you, with a gulp of saliva, you removed the sheet where Sephiroth had ripped the head out and hesitantly gave the blood a lick test. Pretending to use your fake sharp teeth to bite down on the body while gulping down saliva to make it appear as if you were drinking.
Blood trickled down from your neck, once Sephiroth took one last look at you and left with the head. You rushed to throw the body into a nearby trash outside of the castle and hurried into one of the stalls. Mouth full of the dead person's blood.
You threw all the blood contained in your mouth right into the toilet. The semi-advanced toilet that only the wealths could afford. You gasped, sucking in air and out while trying to get that copper taste out by drinking enormous amounts of water from your prepared water bottle and spitting it out into the toilet.
Luckily, Sephiroth didn’t assume anything from you, unluckily you feel sick. Your paycheck was coming in this month, you couldn’t afford to get caught now.
Walking out of the stall, you hid your water bottle beneath your dress on a belt bag you purposely wore.
Back to work you go, mopping the kitchen, going to the actual kitchen to see it busy. Filled with chefs cooking, the ‘cooking’ part was just putting the blood into fancier ways with vegan options. Vampires were also apparently fine with drinking liquid.
You were tasked with handing the food to the banquet that’s coming no sooner than nine, just half an hour left before the guests arrive. Twenty minutes until the guests arrive, ten minutes, five minutes, and lastly zero minutes. You had to hurry with the other cleanings, trying to clean every single stain including the ones on the mirrors right before the guests arrived.
Everything was put in place. According to the head maid, the prince was coming and a ball was held specifically just for him arriving but also as a celebration for all of the commanders to meet-up with and have fun.
The first person to arrive was Zack, the goody-two shoes kind of vampire that also talks about training and his girlfriend Aerith. There were also Genesis and Angeal who were friends with Sephiroth.
“Wow! You did this all for us?” Zack asked, Sephiroth nodded, telling them to enjoy the party while you were busy filling up the tray with red wine.
“You cleaned this? All by yourself?” The head maid asked, pointing at the hallway right outside of the ballroom that led to Sephiroth’s working room, you hesitantly nodded. Hands full with a large tray. “What a hard working maid you are! I might even just recommend you for the commander, he’s been looking for a personal maid,” The head maid said, she appeared delightful, even almost clapping at your work.
You hoped that the old lady would forget, but that’s definitely not possible considering that vampires have memories better than a human(you were sometimes nicknamed as ‘forgetful’ for forgetting certain tasks out of the fifty tasks handed to you for one day).
Going back to handing out the drinks, your eyes laid upon the vampire crown prince, Rufus Shinras. You took a glass of wine from your tray to Rufus’s hands. His hand touched yours, you were holding the bottom part of the glass wine, even giving space for the prince to hold but that didn’t seem to be the case.
“I’ve heard that there might be a human working here,” Rufus’s eyes went orange, his pinkie was touching your index. You could feel his cold touch compared to your warm hands. Icy cold like the winters.
The prince was staring at you with a smile, taking the glass away from you. The prince seems to be almost smirking like he won. “Your hands are quite warm, are you sick?” Rufus asked.
“No your majesty, my hands are warm due to the hot blood soup I had put onto the table,” You explained, half-lie half-truth. Rufus didn’t seem to buy it, swirling his drink while you walked off. He was looking at you from manners to looks.
You hoped that their suspicions would fade away soon. Once the clock strikes midnight, the vampires started to trickle out from the ballroom. Rufus was still there, you had decided to take the long walk from the garden to the kitchen.
The kitchen was only through another door from the garden, but when you arrived at the garden you saw Rufus sitting on a bench, the wine in hand was also done. He held the wine towards you, signaling you to add more wine into his cup.
You obeyed, pouring the rest of the wine into his cup, there was still a bit left, enough for another round. “You look quite human for a vampire,” Rufus commented. You didn’t say a word, held the large serving drink and turned to walk away. “And here I thought servants are supposed to obey their masters.”
You turned your heels at Rufus, “I apologize, I was taught to never speak unless questioned,” You half-lied. “I get that quite a lot due to my parents also appearing similar to humans,” You lied, Rufus seems to have uncertainty as you walked away from him.
“I’m… His… Personal… Maid?” You stammered, pointing at yourself. Your new maid dress had white gloves instead of none and you wore a black ribbon collar instead of none. The head maid nodded, her smile was absolutely contagious.
“Yes! Even commander Sephiroth had agreed oh-so quickly! Your paycheck will now be doubled instead of the usual,” The head maid explains, all you could hear was ‘blah blah money blah’.
Your eyes shot up dollar signs, you quickly agreed to the new job. Now being one rank higher than the rest of the maids within this mansion.
The moment you were assigned to be with Sephiroth, you made your way over to his room. You knocked on it a few times while mentioning your name to Sephiroth.
“Come in.” Sephiroth accepted, you stepped into his room, he was currently bare, demanding you as the new maid to help him wear his outfit. Wanting to test your skills and if you're worthy enough for the job.
All you could think about is the fact that this is your first time seeing the commander naked. You try to maintain your cool, quickly dressing him up and doing the belts in seconds. Sephiroth had even commented on how you dress him much faster than any other personal maids he had in the past.
Sephiroth ended up making you do a whole ton of tasks than what you could handle. Making you carry a tray of wine to his office or stacks of paper from the entrance of the mansion to his office at the very end of the mansion.
You were starting to pant, needing to catch your breath before entering the office with stacks of paper. Enough to the point your arms were shaking by the weight. Slowly making your way up to his desk, Sephiroth ordered you to put the paper on the side of his desk. You obeyed, trying to slowly put the paper down to avoid any of them being damaged.
The more days that has passed, the more you notice Sephiroth watching you work instead of doing his own business.
“Oh? This is your new personal maid now?” Rufus looked at you, his pale hands were raised upwards as he glanced at you with only his eyes. “My, she’s quite a talented maid. Let me have her skills for a chance, I bet she’s better if she worked at my palace,” Rufus said. Sephiroth denied it, telling Rufus to mind his own business and demanding to know why Rufus was here on his own account.
You patiently stood outside of the office, hands together. You could only hear a few muffles of voice before Rufus headed out the door.
He looked at you, smirked, and walked away triumphantly. Tseng started to walk beside him from the opposite side of the door, hands behind his back as Rufus’s jacket was waving as he walked. From that day on, you had met him several times before, either through a coincidental meeting to Rufus personally coming to the mansion more often than the usual one month per meeting.
The next few weeks have passed, ever since you were assigned as personal maid for the commander for the past few days. You bowed the moment you entered his room. A room as big as your home.
You held a towel in hand, respectfully looking away with your eyes as Sephiroth’s clothes dropped to the floor except for his pants.
You hoped to be ranked down soon enough, you couldn’t bear seeing him strip and then ordering you to wash the blood off him, you would always use a sponge, gloves or a cloth, never allowing yourself to touch anywhere on him.
You couldn’t stand it because you were close to that guy and one wrong move meant your death! Grabbing the blood-stenched clothes, you neatly folded it and put it into the laundry basket.
You wore leather gloves, grabbed the woven basket towards the bathroom where Sephiroth was already at. No matter how many times you’ve bathed him you still couldn’t get yourself to stop being so flustered around the man unless you looked the opposite direction or was looking at the back of his head.
Slowly making your way towards Sephiroth, you took out high quality forest-scented soap. Dumping it onto your hands, you’ve noticed that the bath was much more warmer than usual. It was steaming hot, enough for you to feel suffocated within the bathroom.
Putting your hands on his shoulders, you rubbed soap on the commander. You slowly rubbed his neck first but Sephiroth grabbed your wrist and held it tightly.
“Use your hands, I do not like the texture of gloves,” Sephiroth ordered, you obeyed. Gulping down saliva as you slowly took your gloves off, your body was now shaking a lot more than usual. Sephiroth was tapping on the edge of the bath, he was staring at you like he was testing something.
Moving your hands towards the soap, you rubbed your hands with the soap before then applying it onto Sephiroth. Touching the hot water burned your hands into redness, you were thinking of using it as an excuse to explain why your hands are so warm.
Touching Sephiroth’s neck again, you rubbed his neck with soap-covered hands before washing it off. Your hands touching his cold neck, then his shoulders. The moment you went upwards to get the spots you had forgotten like the sides where his chin and neck connect, Sephiroth took your right wrist.
“You're warm, human,” Sephiroth said, you froze, letting Sephiroth use your palms to touch his cheeks. You were afraid of what’s next, would he kill you? Would he suck you dry? Or will he be forgiving enough to let you go? Sephiroth smiled, he dipped one hand into the water to cup some of it.
Luckily the vampire didn’t do any killing, simply letting you go for today but even so this doesn’t seem like the end for you.
You were invited into his office, the guy standing beside him, Rufus Shinra the prince was here. The prince had one hand on the desk as his body leaned close to the table while Sephiroth was sitting directly on the desk with hands together.
“As I said before, I could care less if she’s a human or not,” Rufus explained, the man was even starting to sit on the desk like he owns the place. Hands barely touched Sephiroth’s as Sephiroth was writing something on the paper.
Hands moving fast as he scribbled letters like he was writing a contract. You bowed in a curtsy, lifting your long dress slightly to show respect and formality.
“Commander Sephiroth, what is it that you need?” You asked, head down with legs bent slightly. Sephiroth set the feather to where it belongs, he looked up at you with the usual sly smile of his.
Strands of long hair were resting on the desk, he gestured you to come over, and so you did with your eyes ensuring to not make eye contact with him or the prince.
With the request of Rufus wanting to check if you truly are human or not. The Prince touched one of your hands, strangely enough, he didn’t seem surprised at all when he noticed the difference in temperature.
“Funny that a human was able to by-pass the requirements for being a maid here,” Rufus commented, he let go of you, walking over to Sephiroth to whisper to him about something.
Seconds later, Rufus took your hands, kissing it, lips touching your hands with his fingers on your wrist.
“Although, it’ll surely be nice if you were to be accompanied with us.” Rufus added, he moved his body closer to yours, letting go of your hands. You didn’t bother to back away(not like you wanted to anyways). You already knew what was going to happen once they said ‘accompanied’, they meant something more than just hanging out.
Rufus kissed you a few seconds later after seeing that you weren’t backing away and even nodding. The prince moved his hands up to the back of your head, ensuring that the kiss was deep enough to see the slight frown on Sephiroth’s face when Rufus glanced at Sephiroth after letting go of you.
Sephiroth stood from his seat, looking at you as he sat at the center of the desk. Rufus stepped back, letting Sephiroth take the lead. The first class soldier leaned to kiss you.
You felt also suffocating the longer the kiss lasted, feeling dizzy until Sephiroth stopped and you gasped slightly for air. You thought that Sephiroth would at least feel a bit dizzy from it but the vampire looked completely fine, almost happy with his smile.
Rufus kissed your shoulders first, you felt his cold lips against where your shoulders and neck meet. It felt frosty as Rufus used one hand to hug your waist while the other gently pushed your head as if signalling you to tilt.
Trailing his kisses up to your neck, you saw Sephiroth leaning slightly against the office desk, arms crossed while his outfit was half-on. You could see his toned shoulders and chest.
The prince opened his mouth against the right side of your neck, you felt fangs barely grazing your neck until it sinks into your flesh, feeling a pain worse than getting stung by an insect. Warn blood dripped down from your neck, Rufus didn’t miss a chance to lick it clean. Using his tongue to swipe up from where the blood flows and even at where he bit you.
Rufus’s mouth was completely clean from blood, not a trace of it as the prince dipped down again to bite your shoulders this time.
You woke up in a bedroom, sleeping on your side with the front facing the large curtains and someone standing right in front of the tall glass window. When you tried to get up, you felt a tug around your waist. Rufus’s arms were around your body, refusing to let go.
The prince had even pulled you closer to him, back against his bare front. You could feel his lips right at where Sephiroth had bitten you last night, wound having dried blood around it. You blinked a few times then lifted your hands to where you could see them, your skin was still the same and you were still warm.
“Awake I see,” Sephiroth turned around, he was smiling right at you with those slit pupils. Rufus had his eyes closed, nearly groaning a bit. Hiding his face against your back like he was fearful of the sunny ray lighting the dark room.
“I would rather stay like this for a couple more minutes,” Rufus said, you had just hit with the realization that you were now intertwined with the two.
“Your work is going to pile up the longer you stay here,” Sephiroth reminded, walking over to the bed. The commander had already worn his clothes by the time Rufus sat up from the bed with his arms now beside himself.
You weren’t a maid anymore since that day, it was unusual that the two would take interest in you, but what’s done has been done.
