Harems WERE female spaces. They were enforced and not voluntary but they were not just where female slaves were kept. Anon's comparison is nonsense, but the responses are as well.
I think you are missing the point here. ‘Women’s space’ means something more than just a place where women are kept, it means politically/socially/economically autonomous spaces created by and for women.
We don’t count brothels or prisons or sex-segregated spaces under patriarchal religions as women’s spaces, because they don’t further women’s liberation.
Marilyn Frye wrote so powerfully about the difference between patriarchal and feminist separatist spaces in her essay “Some Reflections on Separatism and Power.” Check it out if you haven’t read it!

first they came for the the autogynephile pedophiles, and I said nothing, because I was not an autogynephile pedophile. then they came for me, and that sucked, but I still didn't regret not allying with the autogynephile pedophiles
It's interesting to watch normal people respond to the trans movement fading out. Women are talking more about wanting our own spaces, we're saying "women" without the need to stick on "and non binary people" or "and anyone who identifies as a woman". Lesbians are talking about loving the female body, without feeling pressured to include male bodies.
Men have pushed too far, as they always have, and women are pushing back, women have had enough.
Stop trying to push gender non-conforming women out of womanhood
‘I don’t feel like a girl’ ‘I don’t feel like a boy’ well great they’re not feelings, now you can stop worrying about it ❤️
Every woman eat and put on muscle weight NOWWW we have to move. I'm making an army

Referring to a vagina as a "hole" is incredibly inaccurate and sexist. A vagina is a complex organ made up of many parts labia, clitorius, clitorial hood. So many parts when you degrade a vagina to simply a hole you fundamentally ignore/downplay women's issues especially those that relate to female health issues such as endometriosis, yeast infections, pmos and bv.
By reducing a vagina to a hole you are also downgrading not only a fundamental part of the sex based discrimination we face but also erasing the meaning of sex.
Hope this makes sense i haven't seen anyone talking about how this language degrades women and wanted to share
women are awesome
i saw a woman on here (sorry i can't remember who!) point out that the "woman are" tags on here are really awful, so she started posting things under #women are awesome, #women are strong, etc. i'm going to start using these tags and filling them up with positive things about women!
that is also the exact cause and purpose of this post lol

Williams claimed that on February 1 she and Thomas got into an argument that turned physical when he grabbed her by the ponytail and threw her to the floor.
Williams claimed that Thomas went upstairs, during which time she grabbed a firearm and followed him before shooting him multiple times.
"My intent was exactly what I did," Williams reportedly said. "I was done, when I tell you I was done, I was done."
Investigators asked Williams if she intended on killing her husband in the shooting, to which she allegedly responded, "I absolutely hoped I would."

american men are advocating for the repeal of the 19th amendment and yet women are STILL expected to give a fuck about how lonely they are. god, won't anyone please think of the poor men? won't you roll over like a dog and give up the rest of your rights for these poor, poor men?

“Teachers are often unaware of the gender distribution of talk in their classrooms. They usually consider that they give equal amounts of attention to girls and boys, and it is only when they make a tape recording that they realize that boys are dominating the interactions. Dale Spender, an Australian feminist who has been a strong advocate of female rights in this area, noted that teachers who tried to restore the balance by deliberately ‘favouring’ the girls were astounded to find that despite their efforts they continued to devote more time to the boys in their classrooms. Another study reported that a male science teacher who managed to create an atmosphere in which girls and boys contributed more equally to discussion felt that he was devoting 90 per cent of his attention to the girls. And so did his male pupils. They complained vociferously that the girls were getting too much talking time. In other public contexts, too, such as seminars and debates, when women and men are deliberately given an equal amount of the highly valued talking time, there is often a perception that they are getting more than their fair share. Dale Spender explains this as follows: “The talkativeness of women has been gauged in comparison not with men but with silence. Women have not been judged on the grounds of whether they talk more than men, but of whether they talk more than silent women.” In other words, if women talk at all, this may be perceived as ‘too much’ by men who expect them to provide a silent, decorative background in many social contexts.”
