Hiroyuki Nimara, nicknamed Nima, is an esper.
When she was 16-years old, she fought a very powerful esper who wanted to abduct her. Fortunately for Nima, although she couldn't fully control her own power, she miraculously was able to get away from one of the strongest soldiers of the CLAW, who later turned out to be Shimazaki. Nima was so shocked in their final battle that she almost lost her eyesight, but only the color of her hair changed. It took a long time to Nima to gain her power back, so the CLAW lost track of her, and eventually gave up looking for her. She only gained them back in our present days, but the battle against the CLAW took its toll on Nima both physically and emotionally, and sometimes she looses her power again after certain events.
After the CLAW had resurfaced, Nima felt that it was her responsibility to stop them, so she started looking for other espers to help her with her task.
Despite her past, Nima is a cheerful, loudmouthed girl, who's covering her vulnerability with a tough attitude and appearance.
Her first meeting with Mob and Reigen:
One day Nima entered Reigen's office and told him that something is hunting her house. She wasn't able to use her powers that day, so Mob couldn't sense that she was an esper, but he still suspected something.
After they've went to the house that Nima claimed to be hers, Mob got rid of the Greater Demon that hunted it. Nima then confessed that the house wasn't hers at all, and she told them that she was actually an esper, only she wasn't able to use her power at the time. She also told them that she heard about the powers of famous and mysterious White T-Poison, and wanted to test Mob's abilities.
She asked Mob to help her defeat the CLAW. Because even though their previous leader, Suzuki Touichirou, gave up on finding the espers and gaining world domination, a new person have appeared to fulfill these wishes. Nima promised Mob that she'd help him get together with Tsubomi-chan if they get the job done.
Nima always teased Reigen about the fact that he doesn't actually have any kind of powers - a secret she decided to keep from Mob until Reigen crosses a line with him, since Nima became really fond of the young esper.
With time, however, Nima noticed that Reigen actually has a good influence on Mob, and even acts as the young boy's uncle, so her attitude towards the man changed. A lot.
